    I bet bad politics have been a factor too.

      Politics is certainly a reason some of our client selling their homes and leaving. I would say this is true for lots of states, not just Washington.

    So so beautiful up there! Lived in Ridgefield for several years. Got to where we hated to go down into Vancouver because the crud from Portland was clearly pouring over into Vancouver.. Unacceptable. Crime,,, Hazel Dell, Rose Village, I-5 corridor,, Not pleasant. We sadly decided to leave. Checked out Arizona/Phoenix/Sun City and it was dangerous, Kidnapping capital of the US and surface of the Sun Hot, big nope! We landed in a beautiful place, expensive but near perfect weather, safe, clean, culture etc.. No, I will not say where... Each person needs to figure out what fits best for them.

    East Vancouver is new appartment complex after new appartment complex being built. The road system is jammed with all the additional traffic. Major road construction is done in the day time producing 20 minute back ups. The city could do better.

      There are definitely a lot of apartment complexes being built in East Vancouver. I don't really feel like traffic is too bad, but to each their own, that is opinion based. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    because its politically turned fully into a borough of portland, and once the crimerail is attached, and the tolls, it will effectively have geographically become portland.
    all the homeless have moved over, its absolutely disgusting around millplain (again).

    I love Clark County! Growing, Growing, Growing. Change is a part of life. The only way this stops is if Everyone stops having children. I like the new restaurants, stores, activities.

    Extremely silly how folks from one part of the country don't like people moving in. People moving in causes growth, more jobs, services, higher home prices for current residents. What's the problem.

    • @chancepaladin
      @chancepaladin 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      did you even read what you wrote.
      people living in an area their whole life don't want higher home prices where they live. that's idiotic.
      that's the human dream right there, get priced out of your own area you grew up in as it slowly turns into a cesspool, yeay.

      Agree. But it would be nice if “natives” got a credit of-sorts to buy their first home locally, or non-natives pay a higher tax…

      I find this to be trend everywhere in the US, regardless of where in the country. Californians move to Washington. Washintonians move to Idaho. People from Idaho move to Utah. People from from Utah move to Tennessee. People from Tennessee move to Flordia...it just keeps going on and on in a pattern like this.
      Change is hard, especially if you have lives in a place for decades. I guess it is just a part of human nature
