this whole place is filled with tragedy and pain; I can tell that it had so much more life left in it but was just not cared for towards the end of its open life and was even less cared for after its demise
I grew up during the 60’s spending my summers in Sullivan County and surrounding areas when hotels were in their heyday. I went swimming at the Nevele once when I was a kid. How sad it is to see it in the condition that it’s in now. I will always have wonderful memories of this place!
