I've had Salah since the get-go, so getting used to it now 😉 So far…Areola, Leno, Botman, Burn, Cash, Udogie, Kabore (or possibly Branthwaite), Saka, Salah, Son, JWP, Bowen, Haaland, Alvarez, Archer. Leaves 0.5m ITB and plan is to go Bowen to Diaby GW8 which gives £1m to move Alvarez to any second fwd if I want, and maybe Watkins GW9. Would love Trips, but just can't make it work with Haaland, Salah, Son AND another mid-priced mid like Saka. Son could be Madders, Leno maybe Turner, but don't trust Turner to keep place and ceiling for Son is hard to ignore. Also very tempted to have...Gabriel. Can't believe I might go back there after the debacle of those opening game weeks. But a Gabriel at 4.7m... If I thought he was nailed it would be a no brainer for the long term (and I'll be some 20+ weeks surviving with just FTs). But I think the minute Zinchenko isn't available Arteta will start his nonsense again. Thoughts?
That draft looks fantastic! Keep an eye on the Saka injury news and perhaps you could start with Maddison instead (if he's fit ofc). I don't think we need Saka until GW 10 - he has City then Chelsea. Gabriel is a good pick to have in place for when the fixtures get nice - 4.7 is a steal! I think Gabriel will continue to start fwiw. A little heavy on WHU mids but a game against SHU is too good to turn down!
Cheers Ryan. That Leno/Areola combo works so well right into the new year and what a relief getting rid of Pickford! Although ironically the fixtures are great now for him, so you should finally see some returns! That's actually why I may prefer Branthwaite to Kabore - I could see myself playing him for some of those EVE games but Kabore...And ownership means he's never going down but Kabore could drop from 4m. Saka. Yes, watching closely. But he's a season keeper and a bit of money tied up in him - things are so tight I don't want to lose that and have to pay it going back there. Dbl WHU mid is only for SHU game then Diaby comes in. JWP is great value to keep in team ticking along. And Bowen could go to town against SHU. Not many will have dbl WHU so I'm trying to max the upside of what is, unfortunately, a much much earlier WC than I wanted.
@@Pete-tr4zv yeah, Kabore could certainly drop once this double is over and people move him on. Agree with your logic on the WHU mids and plan for Diaby. Best of luck mate!
Likewise, David. Trippier would be nice this week but I'm not sure how much I'm expecting from Salah vs Spurs. Looks like Salah is due to rise in price which is annoying...
You wouldn't expect Burnley to keep a clean sheet vs Newcastle, so you're really looking at an opportunity for pts vs Luton away. Beyer (4 for the hit + 1pt vs Newcastle +2-4 pts vs Luton = 8ish pts) Do you think Trippier scores more than 8pts vs Burnley this week? He definitely could. But you also need to consider how it effects your team in future weeks. If you're going to WC next week, don't take the hit. If you're trying to delay the WC till a fair bit later, you could justify the hit
@@BetterFPL I am thinking of wildcarding later when I need it tbh still feel like my team is in good shape only two players I want are aforementioned, I’m now really considering getting in trippier would probably be for Estupinian this week - really not a fan of beyer or Burnley defence they seem to concede loads of chances
I was so lucky. I had Burn since the beginning and transfered in Botman just before deadline to replace Rico Henry. Had both Burn and Botman in my starting line up, so imagine my surprise that both scored 🤣 Collected a cool 100 points for GW6. Currently ranked just inside 30K
My worst 2 weeks running saw me drop into 4 million level Chelsea players have cost heavily and made wrong choice Decided March to mbeumo against reserve back vs botman With March not playing Madison on bench would have come in 20bpoint swing on what seemed a good decision
Great video, completely agree with players! Keep up the great work
Thanks legend!
Hit the WC this morning. Need to get back in the game - Sunday (and Chelsea) killed me
I bet! How's the draft coming along? Finding it hard to fit everyone in?

Great vid, been very tempted to wildcard myself to fit in trippier and salah but going to brave the week without either 😅

@@BetterFPL I could get him in for a -4 currently starting Botman, Beyer (burnley) and Dias - not sure if worth a -4 though to drop beyer

Oh man! you must be loving life! It's rare to get 1 goal from a defender, let alone 2 in the same game haha

Ah, that's tough Angus. All I can say is that there's a long way to go and points are still close. I had a bad week too and dropped over 1m places!
Worst WD I've ever seen..
You mean WC? The team on screen is not my WC team. I'm planning to WC in GW 8. The team I showed at the end was my team for GW 7 as things stand
