Wow that was posted the same day of my surgery! Thank you so much for my new body Dr William only if you knew how much its changed my life, my mind set and I no longer feel embarassed of my belly! My recovery is still going great from day 1 until now I felt zero pain on my lower incision and belly button! My back lipo was another story but the massages helps alot but I did it all with only tylenol extra strenght for 5 days only every 4 hours (allergic to percocet) overall Ladies Dr Williams is the best you wont regret it and he is sooo kind funny and professional! Im so glad I choosed him and I will DEFINETLY would go back to him again if i want something else done ! God bless you Dr William and Ladies you guys are in good hands 1000%! I’m 7wks post op. Pretty flat standing but have a muffin top when sitting…. Hope I don’t need a revision. This TT was done after 110lb weight loss w/out Fleur De Lis. The very top roll I had I moved way down but not completely smoothed yet
I am so incredibly happy I had 15lbs of loose skin removed and have a perfect belly button but can’t help but hyper focus on this

I have skin at the top area and can grip a bunch when I sit.I feel he could have pulled more down.What should I do doctor in this case.i wasn't big in that area only had hang on the bottom which I'm glad is gone but now I'm sad about the upper tummy

I had a TT and lipo of the flanks and upper abdomen. I am healing nicely and i noticed I have loose skin under the low incision area, like on the pubic area. WHY?? Is it because I did NOT wear a faja as soon as I should have?? THX!
Hello! I recently had a tummy tuck and liposuction, and was left with a buldge of fat in my mid section above the belly button. It seems like the surgeon did not lipo that area. I don't have a flat abdomin like I was hoping for. Is this common not to lipo that area?
I would have to see you to answer the question specifically, but I can say from my experience that typically after a tummy tuck patients who are not flat usually have internal fat that weight loss will resolve. I would speak with your plastic surgeon and get their opinion of course.

Are you certified to repair umbilical hernias?
There is no certification for umbilical hernia repair, but I was trained as a general surgeon and that's who repairs abdominal hernias, and then as a plastic surgeon I have performed a lot of abdominal wall reconstruction which is repairing massive abdominal hernias. If there is a small hernia that requires repair and it is small enough that I don't have to use mesh than I will repair it. If it is large and requires mesh then I will have a general surgeon repair it prior to a tummy tuck because they will go inside the abdomen laparoscopically and use mesh a lot of the times.

Hi I had my tummy tuck in turkey but I’ve still ended up with a bit of overhang over the scar looks like the same thing before I had the operation done lot about 6 Stone in wait but I feel like it was a. Waste of time having it done it looks like more of a bulge in my belly very un happy with it I don’t know if the surgery went wrong what I still have fluid between your stomach and muscle or cannot get a diagnose from nowhere cannot even get my local doctors to have a look or plastic surgeon just to have a look another plastic surgeon in the UK can someone one help me on here as I have lived with this for one year still currently on my front or go swimming as there is a very tightness between my stomach on the scar still feels very tight cannot even been back about the scar pulling it feels like my stomach is pulling on the scar where the excess skin or whatever it is, it’s very annoying stopping me from doing my daily active routines have to think about before I do them thanks Jake
I can't answer specific questions but I can say that sometimes in my patients who have longterm swelling it is not really swelling at all but internal fat and their stomach goes flat after weight loss, after getting rid of the internal fat.

It's been over a year since my tummy tuck. I'm happy with the results but I still can't feel my belly button and all the area around it. 😟
