Your unique way to describe the whole process made it all make sense !! I've watched other videos, but it was all Greek to me..... This was so MUCH easier to understand 💕 Thank you for your beautiful tutorial; I now feel confident I can FEARLESSLY make a C2C blanket !!!
I never saw a tutorial for a C2C that I understood until now. Thank you for the video...can't wait to start a C2C. You do a great job on tutorials. Love your channel.
Love your very chill voice...enjoyed your instruction...makes me want to try c2c. Absolutely cringed with the hook/yarn squeeky squeek squeek...is like fingernails on chalkboard to me.
Finally a C2C tutorial I understand. Any time I've tried this I either fell down or tripped up the "stairs". 😅 Now I am confident that I can do this. Thanks Juan❤
PS...this video got put into my Crochet folder in "Saved"...This works up so dang fast!! And it's a blast..I don't like doing blankets too..although ok..I'm doing one in Tunisian full stitch ..it's different, and I love to work different projects that are like this..Awesome!
I had such a bad experience with C2C when I first started using this technique (especially frogging it 😢) that I didn’t finish the project and just gave it away unfrogged and all the yarn for the project. Decided to give it another try this year.
I am on the middle of my first c2c Christmas blanket. I couldn’t figure any of it out until I found you. Thank you so so much for your very clear instructions. You have a new follower.🤗🇨🇦
About 3 years ago I was able to do the corner to corner. I had to run your tutorial really slow to get the gist. 3 years ago I suffered a stroke so my right brain and my left brain were having difficulties figuring it out but I finally got i😂😅😮🎉 Thanks so much Juan appreciate your soothing voice.
This was so incredibly easy to follow and the way you explain it was perfect for me. I can't wait (but patiently will) till you do a tutorial for the rectangle. I know there are others out there, trust me I have seen them, but I still CAN'T get it. I believe yours will help me immensely. I have a rectangle blanket that I have been trying to complete for about 3 years. I know, sad but true. 😞 THANK YOU!
Thank you for your excellent instruction on C2C, I can’t believe how quickly I learned this watching your video. I’m happily working on C2C blanket and certainly enjoying it. I’m relatively new to crochet and constantly learning.
Oh Juan you did it. I watched one of your videos and you wanted suggestions on what to do for a tutorial. Well my biggest fear for years was a corner 2 corner. The other tutorials I watched made me quit and walk away. I so wanted to see how you would teach this one. So you read my mind. Now from the start of your video I wanted to grab my yarn and hook and try it. I continued to watch and I got it. Now I am going to do a c2c but not before I sit down and write your pattern down so I don't miss a step. I love it, I can now do a c2c. Thank you. Your method with the picture and the stairs did it all for me. You are great.😊
Juan it’s my first c2c I always wanted to know how to do this and now I know thanks to you 😊I still don’t understand stand it but I’m learning thank you for all your help so we can understand it 😊😊😊
Thanks for the description and Actually doing the decrease on the corner to corner blanket I understand now better than any of the other tutorials I have watched thank you I can finish my blanket now
Bless you! I have always been intimidated by c2c. This is the best tutorial I’ve seen that made it click. Thanks. Can’t wait to try with you holding my hand 😂.
It’s your little stories that sell it for me. I’ve watched a dozen CtoC videos which I understood, but the juice and the pitcher and climbing the stairs connected everything! The mnemonics WORK. Thanks. 😊🥰
I agree he has such a soothing voice! More than once I’ve fallen asleep watching one of his videos. Not because he’s boring whatsoever but because his voice is so calm and relaxing!
I want to thank you. I have been trying to learn this for a year now, and I finally got it with your tutorial. I made a beautiful baby blanket, my daughter is having twins in August. I finished the girls now have to make the boys. Thanks again.
Thanks Juan; what great timing!!! Crochet with Tiffany Hansen has a challenge going through May for donation blankets for children & I thought about doing a C2C (I said”a” because I am SO slow!!🤪🤪). Keep those tutorials coming please!!!
I've never been able to understand a C2C tut b4 now Jaun. Thank you for making it simply ez and yeah, FUN! I don't suggest a bulky6 w/a 6.5mm hook tho LOL..Can I just ask you one thing for in the future for tutorials? Can you just slow up a second. It would help more. Thanks so much..I'm seriously going to do one with some real yarn not this left over from a loom knitted shawl I did. My Daughter loved it too :) ok, I can hear you giggling in my head instead of my own giggle....LOL.. Have a good day manana my friend.
Thanks Juan for the way you explained it , you did a fantastic tutorial . My problem is always the decreasing for some reason it always goes wrong. I don’t like the large gaps so I ch 2 instead of 3 , 5 instead of 6 and my last dc into the top of the last ch for the straight edge . Great work ❤ I look forward to seeing more good videos.
Thank you for this tutorial Juan, wow! I'm sitting here now with red heart super saver, colorway favorite stripes, 18 rows into the pattern and I love it! Your instructions are easy to follow and understand. I didn’t think a C2C would be this simple. I can hardly wait to finish this 😊 I found this thanks to Greg @ Hey Fiber Friends.
Thank you, Thank you Juan! I have been wanting to make a scarf out of this stitch and couldn't get it. Your instructions help me understand the concept! You are AWESOME!!! You are making a difference! I love your content and channel. Keep up the great work!
First time that I finally get it. I’ve seen other videos and was confused and decided I would never make a corner to corner blanket. BUT after seeing your video I was like Why did I find this so complicated when you make it look easy. Definitely in my to do list. Tysvm for an awesome video. I so enjoy watching u
Can’t wait to do this. I asked for it. I think I’m going to turn it into a couple of ponchos for great grand babies. I have plenty of same yarn in their favorite colors.
Hi Juan, it's Kayan. I love those colors together. My favorite color is purple all shade, hues, and tints. Thank you for this tutorial your a great teacher.
I made so many blankets like this probably about 30 years ago. A coworker showed me this stitch. It's been so long and I could never remember how I did this. Can't believe you popped up, love it. I will be making another one. Thank you so much and I'm so glad I found your channel. ps I cannot read a pattern for the life of me, I learn by watching😊❤
I love doing c2c. They actually turn out more square. I have a messed up left hand ( I'm right handed) from a work accident so it damn near impossible for me to keep my tension the same all the way through
I was just on fiberflux and got lost on her demonstration. Your anology of climbing the stairs was brilliant, and reminding us to slip stitch to decrease was more relatable for my brain. Thank you so much. ❤
New subscriber here. Jeanne from On The Hook Crochet sent me to learn from you. Great tutorial. I have struggled to learn this and you made it so simple. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this Tutorial.. once I get all my Boggy Creek Blankets done and sent I will start in on this. I get it in my mind but let’s see once I put it to yarn, 🤪. I have always had problems with Decreasing . You are so awesome 👏🏻
Thank you Juan for making this video! I have watched other C2C tutorials and have just been so confused, but your tutorial was straight to the point, and I now feel confident enough to try it, and thank you for doing this in the right handed version, idk why but my brain just doesn't compute watching a left hand version (It's a me problem😂) I also knot my colors and I like the tip with not counting the first chain, that should save me some future headaches😊 Such a great video, thank you juan!!
Thanks for the tutorial. You make it look easy but I'm unsure if i can do i, I'll get some old yarn tomorrow and watch it for a third time and actually crochet it along with you. I asked for a tutorial because i loved that blanket you made. Was this the stitch you used? Thanks again for all your time and energy. You really are a very good teacher. Appreciate all you do.
Hey Juan I always do 5 chains and only 2 rather than 3 when attaching one to the other. I find it gives me a much tighter finish to my sets. Also, when I do chains on any stitch that equal double I do 2 rather than 3 which eliminates little holes in the patterns. If you think about it, 3 chains really look like a triple rather than a double so I use 2 chains. Just something tried and true for me. KEEP UP THE GR8 WORK
Hi Juan and right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares blanket and butterfly mosaic blanket and a baby blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your TH-cam channel and keep up the great work on your crochet projects
Enjoyed your tutorial! Have a beautiful day!🙂

Your unique way to describe the whole process made it all make sense !! I've watched other videos, but it was all Greek to me..... This was so MUCH easier to understand 💕 Thank you for your beautiful tutorial; I now feel confident I can FEARLESSLY make a C2C blanket !!!
