►Synopsis：
Zhao Qiaoyi and Yan Mo are desk mates in high school. They have a promise to go abroad together after graduation. Yet they fail to make it happen. After 4 years on a high school classmate reunion, they meet again. Zhao Qiaoyi finally realizes that she loves Yan Mo and determines to pursue her love. Yan Mo is almost almighty on study and work, but he is bad at expressing his feelings. The things he has done for Zhao Qiaoyi are known by nobody except himself. Eventually Zhao Qiaoyi and Yan Mo overcome all the obstacles and get together, fulfilling their initial promise.

This drama was one of the best dramas I have ever encountered and I bet no one can’t think the opposite.
Not only does the drama focuses on the two main characters, but everyone. Everyone has a background story that would catch a person’s curiosity, as it shows how important a “family” is and how genuinely caring and kind our parents can be. We conclude our rebellious selves by blaming our parents’ decisions for us, since we think that it isn’t suitable for us when we don’t even understand it well enough.
Our relationships with our friends truly does stand gravely deep in our hearts. It hurts to see your best friend getting hurt, and vice versa. Friends are our helping hands, we share our burden to them and they’ll be willing to help us through it. Sometimes, we don’t share them. Simply because we think that we’d end up being a burden to them, but that’s where you’ll find out who accepts YOU throughout the ups and downs.
Love, is something you can never expect. It is complicated, as others say, and love is everywhere. Wise people can also be the stupidest ones, and the people whom you think are the stupidest ones, are the wise ones.
I reaaalllly love this drama. Everything’s so realistic and natural. I’ll miss this drama a lot, maybe I’d come back years later. I stan everyones part. But most especially, I would definitely miss the couples a lot. ❤️

It all started with Qiaoyi wrote about her daily life after marriage on WEIBO (similar to twitter) in 2014, it was so sweet and interesting and became very popular. But the drama has also changed and added in many fictional parts such as the lead male character actually comes from happy family, her best friend is not together with her twin brother.....

I know most people will probably choose A Love So Beautiful or Put Your Head on My Shoulder when asked what's their favorite Chinese coming of age drama. But for me, both have nothing against Le Coup de Foudre. This is the BEST one I've ever watched so far. I kinda regret not watching it sooner.

i’ve had tears in my eyes once i read “the end” this drama made so much difference in the way i think and feel and it made me realize that family and friends should be given attention equally and we should love sincerely.

This is probably the most heartwarming and charming drama I've ever seen in my life. It was a pure joy being able to follow the love story of Qiao Yi and Yan Mo. I'm thankful the author shared her real life love story with us all.
I'm not actually a huge youth drama fan (not anymore, at least) but I wanted to watch this because I loved Janice and YuJian's chemistry in "AOO", and this drama FAR surpassed any expectations I had going in. There is so much more to this drama then just the incredibly touching love story between Qiao Yi and Yan Mo. This drama touches upon many relatable topics of family relationships/dynamics, friendships, and just life, in general. And it elicits so many emotions out of you.
The entire cast did a tremendous job playing their characters. They were brilliant and I loved every single character! In particular, bravo to Wu Qian and Zhang YuJian for bringing the author and her husband's love story to life. Their incredibly natural chemistry together made every one of their moments together seem so realistic and genuine. I really felt the love, heartache, and bliss between them as the story unfolded. I was deeply touched by this drama and I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss watching this couple. :((

Exactly how I feel. Everything was so natural. Not a single thing seemed forced. Not only the male-female lead but also the whole cast portrayed their characters with spontaneous and natural acting beautifully. Kudos to them. I'm really going to miss this drama. :'( I think I'll still check everyday if there is any new episode.

One of the most beautiful and heart warming drama I have ever watched. I could not have thought of another actor or actress for the lead male and female role. Their chemistry was so on point and it made the drama feel so genuine and realistic. I’m gonna miss this drama so much; the late nights I spent watching this, and the many moments which made me laugh and sometimes cry. The fact that their love story was based on a real story melts my heart and makes me believe that true love really does exist, and that I should just wait for what destiny holds for me ❤️

It's one more reason for me to love this masterpiece of a drama. One of my all-time fave dramas ever, and certainly my fave Janice and YuJian drama they've filmed.

I never thought that this 35 episode drama will touch my heart so much. What I love most is that it is not just about romantic love but also family and friendships. For me, it 's the best ccdrama so far 😍 I super love all the casts and how they portray their characters. ❤ Makes me happy yet sad that I already am done watching all the episodes. Author Qiaoyi's life is interesting enough to make a wonderful drama out of it. Props to the author for blessing us with such a beautiful story.
I don’t usually watch these dramas but this one really touched my heart. Every character was just amazing and nothing felt fake like some dramas fortunately. It all felt so real and I felt like I was there with them. All characters played their parts perfectly and I hope more dramas could be like this. Once again, my favorite drama and I hope to see more like this. Fantastic!!!💜

I can't believe it's over! The last episode is so well done - no more tears, no more drama, no big reveal. I wish all dramas have this epilogue-like ending. It's just Yan Mo and Qiaoyi taking care of each other and compromising when necessary - a modern happy ever after.

This is the best ever Chinese drama I have ever seen.
It's practical and realistic. I can totally relate this drama to our real lives.
Most importantly it focuses not only in love but also relationship, family, friendship, even hardship too.
Also it doesn't involve any love triangle which nearly all have. It really annoys me a lot.
It's the only drama I haven't skipped any part.
I really liked it and now miss it.
I swear this is the most beautiful drama I've ever seen...like so many emotions are floating in my mind rn..I just watched some spoilers before then watched this last episode and I knew this drama was worth my time so I started watching from the first episode...like it got me completely hooked up for two days .I had so much of school work to do but I just couldn't stop watching this....I know I'm late for this but I'm damn happy that I watched this drama..it gives u a lesson on everything u experience in your life.... everything is so real in this ...I just wished this drama would never end..

This is the first time I really cried watching a wedding. I'd been waiting for her step-dad to escort her down the aisle like he said he would. And then I was waiting for them to figure out they stayed in same house at the same time in Cambridge.
I love that they used this last episode to show us part of their "Ever After" and bring us back to the present day.
