Something tells me TT decided to classify SamuraiSaber as an Attack Type at the last second, much like how they changed Elevate from an Attack-Type Bit to a Balance-Type Bit. I find this is most apparant in the shape of the Blade itself. To me, it does not scream "Attack-Type" at first glance, especially since it is far too smooth to recreate reliable recoil akin to the likes of DranBuster or PhoenixWing. And if it was supposed to be a Balance-Type at first, it'd make sense, since SteelSamurai's a Balance-Type. So I believe SamuraiSaber would perform better in Balance-oriented combinations with Bits like Point, Taper and the new Trans Point.

@@jblanco34if it the one in the review, it comes with samurai bey being called the “hold launcher”. The ones he uses primarily are string launchers. The stadium is the standard one from takara tomy but he added the lights himself
The hold launcher *doooooes* sound a little crunchy for some reason. Haven't seen enough examples to confirm though. Will definitely have to check mine out when it gets here, for a similar sound.
I don’t see the blade hinge gimmick doing much for this Bey. Seems like it would do much better as a stamina/balance type build. Or maybe put it on a low ratchet with Low flat and go for burst wins.
The tease is probably for a ux Cobalt or a Strata dragoon homage bey. I reckon it's probably Cobalt as it makes more sense in the anime and manga as Khrome disappeared after losing to Ekusu so it could've been to make a new beyblade
why does the gimmick reminds me of Ragnarok from turbo for some reason. 😅 and the shape kind of reminds me of the Achilles or maybe Beyblade Shogun steel Samurai Ifrit. 🤔
I think if they put its gimik on a spring instead of leaver so it had the chance to stay as 4 blades instead of allways going into 2 it could be used as a great barrage or smash attack but best combo is prob 3/5/9-60/70 on point or even ball because of the smooth blades
Honestly, I am disappointed. I thought that Level would have more adaptability and allow more launch techniques and the blade itself just isn't that powerful. 👎👎

Why would the launcher be meta breaking? It’s just a ripcord launcher with a different grip position.
