I knew that weathered onion skin agate would be great! Awesome fortification!!

Sometimes you can just tell from the skin that most likely it will be a good agate!

@@GemCabochons I know...those old sun bleached agates often have killer bands inside them. I call them ruin agates.

The other agate with a good windiw has great contrast between the bands. Wise move to not slab any further with the quartz crystals coming.

I just watched it (very cool), looks like a fossilized seashell. If from the USA probably came from somewhere in Southeast or Northwest regions. My guess would be Florida!
