Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

That was really some high end coverage for the 1st round of this year's Masters. Show Woods' shot, go to the range and show some players warming up for their round, show some highlights of Woods' previous shots for the round, go to commercials, come back from commercials and repeat. I thought there were other players in the field for this year's Masters. I guess I was wrong.

Great concept for vid but extend this to about 15 mins instead of 8 and show just a tad more to get a little more feel of the flow / ambiance.

First off let me say that Tiger Woods is definitely one of the greatest golfers that has ever lived and I totally respect his talent. With that being said I know This is going to be a very unpopular post and if you do comment let’s please keep it respectful. What people seem to forget that is that the most recent car accident was the result of very reckless driving and he is lucky he did not kill someone else in the process. But for some reason Tiger always seems to always get a “pass”. In addition the media needs to cover the other great golfers playing the Masters: Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Rory McElroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, Brooks Koepka just to name a few. I just don’t want the Masters to turn into the Tiger show…..

Agreed. I appreciate the brevity of the format but a few seconds more on each shot to show how it came to rest would be helpful. If you didn't see the round you'd have some real questions and to just how in the heck the ball ended up where it did.

Outstanding even with everything he's gone through physically that he can still play at this caliber is insane. A lot of really close ones here too that could have easily went his way. He keeps playing like this and he could definitely take it.

Has he apologized for putting other people’s lives at risk by driving recklessly on a curvy mountainous road? Nope. Who cares that this guy can entertain us with his golf skills. He has shown himself to be a narcissistic self-indulged person by his poor choices and behavior throughout his career.

what I liked about his round is that he shot short on about 2 or 3 greens...(ball rolling off the green) but was still able to get pars on those holes.. he scrambled on quite a few holes as well.. on a windy day at Augusta... coming off a terrible life threatening injury.. he played so amazing, felt like OG Tiger... cant wait for day 2 and beyond honestly... his putting was amazing btw.. sooooo many saves

For first time back playing again in a Major Tournament, Tiger played amazing at -1 under par. On some of the holes he did hit the green in regulation but they rolled back off the sloped greens. We will see how Tiger does tomorrow with his legs after walking the first day on the Masters hilly course. Thanks for the highlights video.
