as a 90s kid, Sugarbun played a big role in nurturing my love for reading.. my fondest memory of Sugarbun was not only the food but the books I’ve borrowed and read from Sugarbun library.. why restaurants nowadays dont maintain reading corners anymore? 😢
oh and what’s the name of the bakery that used to be attached to Sugarbun? the one that sells soft serve.. was it Jolibee?
It could be a Sugarbun owned bakery, since it started our as a soft serve ice cream parlour before it became a fast food restaurant.
@@frykfc i second that.. if my memory doesn't fail me, it was called Jollibee.. so was curious if it's related to the Filipino-owned Jollibee🤔 Both establishments have a bee as their mascot 🤔

masa kecik, mak slalu beli burger sugarbun kat KK.. burger sambal x silap.. penah nyewa kat sarikei, tiap minggu makan kat sugarbun sarikei.. kadang2 kat sugarbun betong.. tapi ada beza rasa makanan di mana2 branch sugarbun.. sarikei the best.. betong pun ok.. lain2 tempat macam beza rasa dia..

When i was a child..my dad used to take away fish burger for me whenever he went for night meeting or work. Nowdays as my parent is gettin old...i usually takeaway burger or other meal for them.
After watching this story, I am only familiar with KCF, burger king, and Macdonald, which inspire and can stop me, and I will try them soon when I reach Kuching, Sarawak.
Do try the fish fillet burger. It has been my fave meal there. Mushroom chicken claypot are delicious too!
