Yes as to what myaze said that piece is what holding the prongs onto the launcher, or maybe ur internal stopping mechanism isnt working properly as sometimes the spring might just come off

… ok let me just tell you this if you pull extremely fast when launching with a Ripcord launcher it will skip gears so you have to pull it in a much controlled way also by doing this just ruins the other purposes of the launcher
