The all star voting and game attendance indicates how the fans feel about Clark and Wilson is trying to get Nike to change this but it is never going to work because the new fans are too smart. What Wilson is calling the "true fan" is really the few people who have failed to make the league profitable and made the WNBA a welfare league and Wilson a welfare MVP. If Wilson wants to change this she needs to work harder to become better or it won't be long before the younger players eclipse her. Time is not on her side and it is only natural for her skills to decrease while the younger players skills increase.
