Appreciate the passion, but the Wizards know what we have, and he is on a very team friendly long-term contract. You just don't have the assets left to get him.

Deni Avdija is an excellent fit that can definitely put the Warriors as a contenders, but Washington are not willing to give him up?... As for the information I've got, there are few teams already has high interest to get him, like OKC, the Grizzlies, the Pelicans and so'... Unfortunately Washington starting a rebuild with a new GM and new front office, they're planning to trade few of their players including Kuzma and build the team around Deni.

hell yea!!!, but the wizards are not giving deni away and allso that's a bad move for deni. the worriors are going to be a lottery team in 2-3 years.

I completely agree that Deni Avdija would fit the Worriors system perfectly. However, there is no way the Wizards will settle for a few expiring contracts and two 2nd rounders , which the Wizards own plenty off already, for Deni . The reason being that no matter how good Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody can become, the Wizards do not want them as one-year-rentals where they might potentially loose one or both of them to free agency.

From a Wizards standpoint, they are in a rebuild and are looking to accumulate high draft picks. Deni is part of their long term future, and is signed on a very cap-freindly rookie extension for the next 4 years. Therefore, it would take at least two 1sts, a mid and a high, to move him.

Great comment; thank you! It would most definitely take (possibly substantial) draft capital for the Wizards to consider moving off of Deni and his team friendly contract.

Deni would fit in any team in the nba because he play team basketball and don’t chase personal statistics...
Gsw could have got Deni instead of wiseman on the 2020 draft.

The Wizards would laugh at your trade proposal-- especially since Deni's contract decreases over time. At minimum, the Wiz would likely ask for Kuminga and removing all protections of the 2030 First round pick the Warriors already owe the Wizards.

Sounds pretty realistic for a Wiz counter; thank you for the comment!

    In this video:
My team can win it all if we can trade our garbage to another team and get a really good player on a great contract.
In short, you're delusional. Your trade proposal doesn't come anywhere near what the Wizards would want for Deni.

      Agree to disagree!
The Wizards have a track record of bad trades: The Wizards received Tyus Jones, Danilo, Mike Muscala and a second rounder for KP. Horrible trade for the Wiz. Do you think that was a solid return for KP?
My Deni trade is much stronger than say, the Celtics for KP; have you watched Moses Moody play?
Your appraisal of Moody and Looney are incorrect; definitely NOT garbage.
      Thanks for the comment!

@@ctrainstation Uh yes, that was a VERY solid trade for the Wizards. You see, KP had a player option that he was NOT going to execute with the Wizards, so they would have lost him for nothing.
They ended up getting Tyus, Bagley, and two 2nd rounders for a guy who was going to leave in FA in about a week.
(Note: they traded Danilo, Muscala to the Pistons for Bagley and a 2nd rounder)
So yea, very solid trade getting something for nothing.
Nice try, but context is important here.
