Indices are the move for real and I only trade 3 days of the week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday although they can consolidate at times when they give you that big move it's really life changing stuff.

I still find currency trading attractive hence am an intraday trader... basically it's all about finding a pattern that's most likely to be repeated and then waiting for that pattern to play out, I mainly focus on USD pairs due to it predictability level...
Martin is correct! USD pairs respect key levels much better! GBPJPY can be a pair you only trade. But AUD, CHF, NZD and exotic pairs will not respect your levels over an extended period. Currencies are REALLY manipulated!

This mans just gave you some info on trading off Key Levels of interest. Currencies trend, just not as much as indices cause if indices didn't trend bullish you're economy would be in a recession. Combine this with market structure and waiting for the closures you got a good strategy, honestly you could mark out every 100 or 150 points and it look good in hindsight, it's just executing on your trade idea and being consistent. @@romanixchrome The PDT rule is when you trade more than 3 days a week. then by law you have to have a min balance of 25K Im not a tax expert but you could trade at a prop firm and get around that with CFDs cause theyre not brokers. if you trade your own money with a broker you CAN NOT trade CFD's if youre american but a prop firm isnt your own money and it isnt a broker but id still consult a tax pro

Currencies stay in a range long term due to the world banks keeping checks and balances. One country's currency will not get so weak or so strong against another country or international commerce would become impossible.
Yea, currency pairs will range for a long time & create a bit of noise on the lower time frames, indices rarely range so they’re easier to trade on lower time frames & even swing

Probably you not gonna see this comment but i just want to say, this levels combined with your old fibonacci method on the 15 minute timeframes (with US30 and NAS100) working really well for me, especially when one of the zone line fit with the 70% rejection line.... maaaan that is golden, and you really do not need more than 125pip a day or a week, it depends on the people. Works really well for me and i'm just getting started :D thanks man

I love to use the ADX Muti-Timeframe Indicator with this, cause then when it hits a level, you watch the 1-30min become Bullish or Bearish, it's a possible Buy entry to the next level up, then take your profits.
FX doesnt trend because of its low volatility. It has low volatility because it is the most liquid market in the world. For every buyer theres a seller, for every seller there is a buyer. Central bank's mandate is to seek price stability
@@doyle__e In my opinion, traders should ONLY trade Gold, GBPJPY, US30, NAS100, JPN225, and SPX500. Any experienced trader will tell you the key levels for them are respected EXTREMELY well! Technical analysis will NOT work well with highly manipulated currencies long term.

US30 & NAS100 all you need honestly, 1-2 indices is perfect, forex pairs will range a lot and if you’re an extreme scalper it can put you in a bad position, but with indices you don’t run into that problem almost never
I have been trading only mini SP500 and NQ for like 5 years I trade pretty much once or meybe twice a week whenever I see a really good and defined bullih or bearish trend getting 4 to 5 contracts and hell boy I have made money I set up my tecnical analisis and then I trigger I put a decent stop loss like -20 or -25 points and I put a take profit of around 80 to 100 points the first day I take care of it and I move my stop loss above break even and I move it slowly up not much I let the price breath and I let it go and go some times I even move my take profit if it's having an strong trend with a lot of buyers or sellers coming throw and keep my stop loss moving till I see the price starts to settle hard in an area or the strengh is way lower
