Everything Hawks had ever done in these past 2 episodes...the speech he gave at the Hero rankings...taking Enji out for lunch...it was ALL because he wanted Endeavour to grow & rose to the moment that he always wanted Endeavour to become....because he always looked dup to Endaevour.. Hawks becoming a pro...and not just a pro, but in the *top 3!!* at such a young age...it was all due to his admiration for Endeavour...as he always looked up to him his whole life 😭😭😭 Enji was *always Hawks hero in his heart his whole life* ❤❤❤

I was waiting for that. The best character evolution ever. EDIT: The development I mention is about Endeavor's internal struggle. It is a fight against internal demons. He sees himself in Nomu, the phrases before PLUS ULTRA, the letters he sent to his wife, the request to Todoroki to watch him, a private talk with ALL MIGHT, all this is part of this internal struggle. Anyone who didn't notice it, watch it again.
Yea it’s too bad they didn’t realize any of that development in the reaction. They forgot everything Endeavor did to the fam, & why she’s in the hospital
From 14:16 of the full episode Endeavor’s body was paralyzed through shear exhaustion. This is where Endeavor TRULY makes a statement in his seat as #1 hero. Without the use of his body endeavor has to solely rely on his quirk to propel him, later he is assisted by Hawks to reposition him and speed him up with feathers. When given the proper push endeavors body was still exhausted, hence why the punch wasn’t strong enough to blow his head off. Endeavor, still paralyzed, asks Hawks for one final favor and it is to use what’s left of his feathers to shoot him as high as possible into the sky. It is now deep minutes into the episode and Endeavor is STILL paralyzed…with the capability to go beyond plus ultra, endeavor, again uses NOTHING but his raw quirk to burn the nomu into ash….it is now 19:43 of the episode, and because the people meant so much to Endeavor he finally had enough strength to stand and lift his fist half way up so that no one would be afraid anymore…..That is our #1 hero!
That was All For One at the end with his younger brother, when he put his hand on his brother's face that's when One For All was born, that's the moment he passed on the stockpiling quirk that mixed with the younger's brother quirks that let's him pass on quirks. And everyone else were the other predecessors, even All Might was there even though he's alive, he was the yellow guy, he's not well formed yet but he's definitely there
For me, what makes Endeavor a tragic character even before all of these and All Might was still active... Is the fact that Endeavor never even knew that he WAS indeed the strongest hero around. He was fighting a lost rivalry against All Might with One for All, a quirk that took hundreds of years and multiple generations to build. Never gave up, and pushed his natural-born quirk to its utmost limit to the point that it drove him to insanity... “Bioengineered human... Nomu. You, who have been created to have multiple Quirks-- who are obsessed with strength-- Bioengineered human... You... Are me... From the past... Or another future...” That's why I just can't control my tears on this part. 😭😭😭

That after credit scene also got me so hype!!! I *KNEW* there just HAD TO BE MORE to OFA when saw all the past users back at the Sports Fest ! I think this also helps explain a little more "how" Izuku becomes *"The World's Greatest Hero"*
I gotta say, while I still hate Endeavor's guts, his was pretty cool. He totally earned this win. He also earned that scar, but we don't have to get into that right now. 😅
Even knowing the backstory it still freaks me out a little bit how much alike Shigaraki and the first OFA holder look. xD Also: GOD I love seeing people worry about Endeavour. He may have started out as a great hero but a piece of shit human, but he's trying to make up for the past and improve himself, just like real human beings do. And he's not even trying to force them to forgive him because he didn't push Todoroki during the license training and let him swat him away. He recognizes they might never offer forgiveness, but he wants to atone and become better anyway. That's why I love his character so much: He's another example of humanizing heroes and villains in the series, reminding people that these characters are more than just their power and more than what meets the eye.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Endeavor is a great character because he is flawed. He isn’t a great person, but he is realizing being a hero is more than being the strongest or top of the heap. You have to save people’s hearts, too, and he is realizing what a mess he made of his family in his pursuit of greatness. He may never get their forgiveness or their presence back in his life but he will not stop working to make it right for them. He’s so well written.

Even just in the anime, by this point in time he's already shown he's trying to make amends in his own way. Anyone can just say "Sorry" and not even mean it, but it takes someone with sincerity to put the intention in their actions and work to better themselves. I had bullies that weren't QUITE as bad as him in school but still pretty bad just the same, and I always hoped somewhere down the line they found the same kind of redemption and matured past that point in our lives, even if I'll never see it myself. Both are still in character but both are still growing, and they should have that right to do so.
The reason why they’re different is because Endeavour’s “why” goes beyond just saving people or inspiring future heros. Endeavours incentive for change is for his family, his children and his wife, something All Might doesn’t have, something Endeavour deep down cares about but neglected bc of his hunger for power - a mistake he realised later in life after seeing the fallen state of his own family. Sadly, some people like Endeavour have to go through it to realise their wrongs. Regardless of how bad of a person someone was, redemption is a beautiful thing and truly shows the hidden inner beauty everyone possesses even those who seem like they don’t have a heart.
Small little things I liked about this episode. -Endeavor now has a scar on the left side of his face, same as Shoto. -In his victory pose, Endeavor raised his right fist. Similar but different to All Might's pose at Kamino, who raised his left fist. -Natsuo, unlike Fuyumi, never noticed this, but Endeavor never gave up on his dream to surpass All Might. He kept trying even after realizing that he wouldn't be able to surpass the Symbol himself. So he used Rei (Shoto's Mother) to sire a prodigy that would inherit the perfect quirk. If he couldn't become number one himself, then he would create a prodigy of his own blood to do it instead of him. His own way of not giving up. -Endeavor's theme (Just Another Hero), quite literally shows that he is JUST another hero. He tried hard to surpass All Might, but up until he became number one he was a hero. Not a symbol. He may have been ranked higher than the other heroes, but compared to All Might he was the same as the other heroes. This episode is him becoming more than that. Going from a simple hero to a Symbol for the new era of the Hero Society.
Still my favorite fight in all of anime. Gotta watch it at least once a month. This one just hits different. The whole thing is perfect. Music, animation, writing, voice acting.
What's incredible about this episode is you can clearly see that All Might underestimated endeavor he was in complete shock about what he just witnessed
I BEEN WAITING!!! *All Might: Symbol of Peace* *Enji Todoroki: Symbol of Hope* I hope everything turns around for the more positive for him *FUN FACT:* This Nomu is actually deadlier & stronger then the Nomu meant to kill world's Strongest man a.k.a All Might back at the USJ incident.....Soooo Enji REALLY did deserve that spot at #2 & definitely now the #1. Also..if you guys get a chance, the blue-gray versions of these shows removes all that stupid dimming from the bright scenes...WHICH make EVERYTHING WAYYY BETTER...especially Izuku's fight against Overhaul and this episode.
Endeavors wife is hospitalized after having a mental breakdown and attacking her own son in a fit of crazy. (remembers shoto's scarred eye, thats because of his mom throwing boiling water at his face) Endeavor was the cause of her trauma and the eventual mental breakdown and the doctors don't recommend the husband and wife to see each other when he visits her until they are sure she is fully recovered due to the risk of her having another breakdown upon seeing him. From what i recall Shoto's mom had only recently showed signs of making recovery, Shotos presence and their reconciling most certainly helping out. All in all, even if Endeavor and Rei want to patch up things and start over, it won't be easy for many reasons.
when i saw your mha reaction series over a month ago and season 4 was ongoing, i couldn't wait to see your guys reaction to this episode and when i saw this video was up the wait was finally over :) now both of you need to watch the hero rising movie
Speaking of the dreams and one for all. The first time when midoriya talked to almight about it in the school festival two seasons ago all might said he saw them but they couldn't enteract with me so i think this is something different from all mights dreams.
Fun Fact: Todoroki burn is Not from the boiling water because todoroki left side immune to heat/fire his mother just panic and use her ice to try to stop the burn (that what she think) but it resulted as a cold burn/ice burn (i dont what the term is hahaha)
This nomu is stroger that the nomu all might fought in season 1. I love the fact that All might and Endeavor are so strong that hey have to hold back or they could destroy everything around them
Endeavor is the most complex well written character in the entire story. If you disagree you can fight me. Also, while Endeavor has been shown to punch young Shoto, he was rarely physically abusive outside of training. Only when training was interrupted. Most of his abuse came in the form of emotional abuse which is revealed in depth in the war arc. Wife was unstable as a result of what happened to their first child from Endeavors training and saw Endeavor in Shoto and threw hot water at him, so he had her put onto a facility for their protection and hers. I hate how sheeple demonize him, he is a flawed being, but he is not evil. What he did was wrong, but he wanted to have something to protect the world should All Might ever be gone. And look, he was right. All Might is out of commission. He was the only one truly trying to surpass All Might. Just as Bakugo does now.
5:05 love him or hate him, you gotta admit that Endavour is good at his job as a pro hero. The attack he used against the Nomu doubled as a way to cut up the huge building into small pieces which was falling after being cut in half. If he hadn't done that, that huge chunk would've crashed and caused way more damage. Hawks is also shown to be a very quick thinker and a great support to Endeavor by putting the finishing touch on Endeavour's slightly sloppy work. If he hadn't used his feathers to catch the debris falling there would've been quite a bit of damage. Not as much as if Endeavour didn't cut the building, but still a bit of damage. We can see it again at 13:57 where Endeavor shouts at Hawks then uses his flames to make an arrow pointing upward. Hawks sees it and instantly realizes what his plan is.
The point of having children was to "create" someone to be able to surpass Allmight, which is why he seek a wife with an ice quirk. Interestingly, the flashback shows that Endeavor had 4 children, but we only know 3 ... interesting, right?. o.o Just because Endeavor is a good character, one can't forget the domestic abuse, just saying.
Some mutation changed the fourth’s color scheme though. For some reason they don’t look like they belong in Christmas promo material wearing a santa suit...
@Ruben Colon "To create the perfect son" is exactly what I said, that only matters if said son is obsessed with the profession of hero like Endeavor, he did not do any favors to anyone but himself. As a frustrated athlete he tried to live through his son, literally "creating" him to fulfill his selfish dream.
Even if they redeem Endeavour he'll never be forgiven by his wife and kids. If he wants to do right by them is get his wife out of that hospital, give her a modest house far from him, their kids move in with her and he stays away from then on and focuses on being number 1. If they don't kill him off that's the only way I could tolerate it. And manga readers don't spoil me if I got at all right.
If Endeavor defeated there, the only hero who can keep up with the nomu is best girl Mirko and Best Jeanist if he's healthy Also, Endeavor journey to be a better man is just started, I think you'll like him in S5 and in S6 you'll cry for him 😂
I haven’t read the manga or anything, but is that final scene something like Deku being able to tap into the full potential of One for All? Like he became fully attuned and now is the sole possessor of One for All? It sorta looks like an official passing of the torch type scene, where the first user lives through One for All, and he finally accepts Deku and passes on the last of the power.
I wonder what's going to replace mha until season 5!? Dr.Stone, The Promised Neverland, Beastars, Reincarnated as a slime all start 2nd seasons soon. I'm mostly excited for TPN and Dr.Stone.

Endeavors wife is hospitalized after having a mental breakdown and attacking her own son in a fit of crazy. (remembers shoto's scarred eye, thats because of his mom throwing boiling water at his face)
Endeavor was the cause of her trauma and the eventual mental breakdown and the doctors don't recommend the husband and wife to see each other when he visits her until they are sure she is fully recovered due to the risk of her having another breakdown upon seeing him.
From what i recall Shoto's mom had only recently showed signs of making recovery, Shotos presence and their reconciling most certainly helping out.
All in all, even if Endeavor and Rei want to patch up things and start over, it won't be easy for many reasons.
This is my favourite finale of all seasons ❤

Speaking of the dreams and one for all. The first time when midoriya talked to almight about it in the school festival two seasons ago all might said he saw them but they couldn't enteract with me so i think this is something different from all mights dreams.
Fun Fact: Todoroki burn is Not from the boiling water because todoroki left side immune to heat/fire his mother just panic and use her ice to try to stop the burn (that what she think) but it resulted as a cold burn/ice burn (i dont what the term is hahaha)

Endeavor is the most complex well written character in the entire story. If you disagree you can fight me.
Also, while Endeavor has been shown to punch young Shoto, he was rarely physically abusive outside of training. Only when training was interrupted. Most of his abuse came in the form of emotional abuse which is revealed in depth in the war arc. Wife was unstable as a result of what happened to their first child from Endeavors training and saw Endeavor in Shoto and threw hot water at him, so he had her put onto a facility for their protection and hers. I hate how sheeple demonize him, he is a flawed being, but he is not evil. What he did was wrong, but he wanted to have something to protect the world should All Might ever be gone. And look, he was right. All Might is out of commission. He was the only one truly trying to surpass All Might. Just as Bakugo does now.

Long story short Endeavor abused his family that's why she's in the hospital I'm all for people being able to change but that's extremely messed up

love him or hate him, you gotta admit that Endavour is good at his job as a pro hero.
The attack he used against the Nomu doubled as a way to cut up the huge building into small pieces which was falling after being cut in half. If he hadn't done that, that huge chunk would've crashed and caused way more damage.
Hawks is also shown to be a very quick thinker and a great support to Endeavor by putting the finishing touch on Endeavour's slightly sloppy work. If he hadn't used his feathers to catch the debris falling there would've been quite a bit of damage. Not as much as if Endeavour didn't cut the building, but still a bit of damage.
We can see it again at 13:57 where Endeavor shouts at Hawks then uses his flames to make an arrow pointing upward. Hawks sees it and instantly realizes what his plan is.

Even if they redeem Endeavour he'll never be forgiven by his wife and kids. If he wants to do right by them is get his wife out of that hospital, give her a modest house far from him, their kids move in with her and he stays away from then on and focuses on being number 1. If they don't kill him off that's the only way I could tolerate it. And manga readers don't spoil me if I got at all right.
If Endeavor defeated there, the only hero who can keep up with the nomu is best girl Mirko and Best Jeanist if he's healthy
Also, Endeavor journey to be a better man is just started, I think you'll like him in S5 and in S6 you'll cry for him 😂

I haven’t read the manga or anything, but is that final scene something like Deku being able to tap into the full potential of One for All? Like he became fully attuned and now is the sole possessor of One for All? It sorta looks like an official passing of the torch type scene, where the first user lives through One for All, and he finally accepts Deku and passes on the last of the power.
