This video is one of few which shows to get your dream, you dont need to make some very big robotic stuff, even these little, simple yet complex things can also lead to a bigger place. Damn that was inspiring.
I wish MIT had a quadratic voting system to have current students and alumnis score MIT maker portfolios and factor it in as a weighted score with what the admissions office think of it.
your 2 papers for the double pendulum and the coupled harmonic oscillators read very differently. Just by the way you described them id say youre very comfortable with the oscillators and barely able to say something about the double pendulum. Now, for someone still in school, this seems very impressive regardless! as a physics student, i just feel like some more intuitive formulation of the lagrangian and the applied maths would elevated your paper a lot. It still is better than what id expect of a 2nd year physics student. keep up the great work, youll go places!
@ double pendulum what exactly? In the video the guy is doing some "chaos" analysis, which basically just seems like applied probability, but actually being able to read and provide useful information about the color coded chaos diagram doesn't seem like something they'd do in undergrad.
This is really high quality! The only thing that looks off is that your highlights are too bright in the first video. Also, I know it's not for us, random strangers on the internet, but there is no hook to make me want to watch it in full, and I don't really follow the story you are telling, i suppose due to me being lost what it's all about
Hello! Thank you for your feedback -- I can see how the projects here may be confusing. In the future, I will upload more videos explaining each in detail, so stay tuned for that.
I'm not getting the vibe of, an artists who uses technology as their paintbrush - which seems to be what differentiates brilliant MIT staff. Then again you've got a lot to shoulder, good cinematography but hope you can prove us haters wrong with an acceptance.
Damn son video is fire and the projects even more
Thanks!
An MIT grad here. Loved it. Hope to see you soon on campus. All the best !
How did u get in
CRAAZYYYYY!! HOPE YOU GET IN BRO

well it would probably take a graduate level student to seem knowledgeable when talking about such a complex topic
@moodman6426 no, double pendulum is 2nd year undergrad stuff

Looks great, did you focus one one specific thing when making your portfolio or applying to colleges in general?
Do you have paper recommendations for the joint tracking system?
not exactly, but I followed along the documentation on media pipe, that was pretty useful!
The among us wallpaper goes hard
What is the name of the paper you followed for the string art?
I just followed some notes on CT scanners, the paper in the video is my own 😄
Is that your extended essay, and did you use typst to draw it?
Hi! Yes, the double pendulum is my extended essay! I used LaTeX to write it and Inkscape to do the illustrations!
