Good question! There is a space for speakers however I had to cut out some of that styrofoam It was not deep enough and was very tight on my ears when I closed it down.
For summer riding a 3/4 helmet can't be beat. They're significantly lighter in weight, and they're much cooler on hot days. And you can get them with face shields for face protection. I just know someone is going to say how they're not as safe as a full face helmet. Well, you know what, motorcycles aren't as safe as cars either, so if safety is your main concern, quit riding. Full face helmets suck, they're heavy, you can't eat with them on, you can't drink with them on, it's hard for others to understand you, or for you to understand others, and they're insufferably hot and stuffy in summer heat. They just dampen a lot of the joy of riding. Of course, someone that's never worn anything but a full face helmet will argue this with me, but how the hell do you know? I wore full face helmets for years, then modulars. I bought a 3/4 helmet thinking I would wear it in the summer months, but I found riding in a 3/4 helmet so much more enjoyable that I'll wear a modular helmet in winter months, but the rest of the time, it's a 3/4 helmet.
I would have to agree! It’s just more comfortable and you can actually breath 😂. The modular is some getting use to for sure as you mentioned it’s heavy but when I wear it as a 3/4 it actually takes some of that weight away. I also love my half shell as well!
I was very disappointed by my LS2. When I run into the rain, the rain immediately starts pouring down the inside of the visor and my nose is immediately wet, so I won't be spending my money on LS2 helmets again. 🤷♂ Greetings from Croatia
@@mamaontwos maybe you'll have better luck than me. Although they convinced me in the store that this is normal 🙄. But the helmets I had before this one were never wet from the inside, even after 7 years of use.
Is there a recess for the Cardo speakers, and are they deep enough so that the speakers don't put pressure on the ears?
