Hello i have 42LM615S very similar psu to that, what does mean 3 times psu led indicator are blinking? tv are starting and working about 10-30 seconds, once time longer a litte bit, but eventually turn off without standby led.. LEDs seems to be ok, I tested by LED tester. Caps dont seen bad (not boiled out) but tv is quite old 12 years.. Any
3 times blinking in psu indicator means backlight failure. If you check the backlight manually its look like good but the problem comes out when the tv is in time of operation.
@@protechelectronics79 Thank You for feedback, i was wondering about caps but they look normaly (no visual symptoms of failture) TV have propably 3 lines/points of control. each voltage are similar (when i use LED tester) but one 1 (or set of led strip) seems to light up faster..

Nagpaayos kami ng tv yung problema lang po ng tv namin is wala siyang display bigla umitim chineck namin siya meron namang backlight yun po siba yung parang pumuputi pag prinepres yung tv? So ayun pinaayos namin siya dito samin naibalik po yung display pero yung half display nag blubluewish siya. Ang sabi ng nagaayos kaya daw ganun kasi sira na cof di namin alam anu ibig sabihin nun. Sabi naman ng isang nagaayos ng tv na di siya naniniwala na cof yung problema. Bakit po ganun boss? Nag dududa kami boss kasi yung hinihingi samin 4k. Gusto namin malaman totoo ba o hindi. Sana mapansin nyo boss need lang namin ng sagot. SONY nga pala model ng tv IPS.
Kaylangan po kasi macheck po muna ng mismong technician para malaman at masabi kung ano talaga ang problema. Kung COF ang sira nangangailangan po yan ng cof bonding machine para maayos pwera nalang kung kaya pang gawan ng paraan.
@PRO TECH Electronics yes po. Isang led shorted. Nag order ako online via Lazada, 22nd March pa dating. During testing ng LED, pag power up, lahat backlight strips umiilaw. After siguro ng self-check, detect ng system may shorted na isang LED sa channel #2 kaya nag shut down channel #1, 3 and 4. Naiwan ch.2 para makita yung defective na LED.

5 times blinking means the drive-on signal is not present. Faulty motherboard.

Kapag nag auto ON po kapag sinaksak tapos may 3x blinking then bukas lang backlight at walang picture ano po ba problem nun sir?
Maaring sa motherboard po ang problema, pero kung walang picture at may sound maaring sa tcon or panel ang nagiging problema kapag ganyang symptom.

Voltage check po sukatan kung may drive on signal, kung wala sa motherboard na po ang sira.

I have received the new backlight strips and installed them, LG TV 55UH6500 is in good working order now.
