Hope you enjoy my performance of Chopin - Waltz in E Minor.
Outro: J. S. Bach - Invention No.1 in C Major (BMV 772)
Any suggestions for future performances? Please leave them in the comments.
My piano teacher recently gave me this piece to learn and i think she might be overestimating my piano playing ability
Elsie my piano teacher just gave me winter wind op25 no11 and I just finished playing Bach intervention so we are on the same boat lol
@@cxacmp5583 ripppp lmao my previous piece was Einaudi's Nuvole Bianche so yes this the world's worst boat
Ettore Cuomo lol believe it or not I’m actually doing really well, I jus have to practice much harder and longer, i started around a week ago and I finished reading a page for both hands yesterday, u just have to dedicate yourself👍🏼
Are you doing your Level 10 exam Elsie?
@@ettorecuomo232 Are you okay? French Suites are only RCM 5.7 While all the inventions are around a RCM 7-8. If you are to say something about Bach something around Chopin Etude levels are his Goldberg Variations and his Art of Fugue. And I don't know if you have any experience at all. Chopin Etudes are all at an ARCT level. If you were to say something you should place before this Waltz. It should be at least something Level 9
Amazing! This doesn't look easy but you nailed it! Nice gradient too
LoL you'll do it
The flaming piano are you brothers with Voltaire
Very underrated waltz
Yeah yet it sounds very amazing!
Very underrated channel too...
you are right

Excellente interprétation… pianiste de haut niveau… Un Bonheur d’écouter cette si belle interprétation .. Merci à vous..🌷
Honestly a very underrated piece
I love this waltz! I have been playing it ever since I was 17, half a century ago. This is a very nice performance! Thank you for publishing it.
Also THANK YOU THANK YOU for not rushing the crap out of this piece. I swear almost every other interpretation I've heard just plays it as fast as they can like dude... it's a waltz. It's not really supposed to be played like it's a race to the end lol. I love this one you did!
I'm also a pianist and this is going to be my fourth exam peice for grade 8 since I'll be having my exam online. Wish me good luck! 🤞
Good luck (:
Good luck :)
good luck :(
Best of luck :D
Grade 8 is what year
Best rendition of the piece I’ve heard!!!
Same!
My favourite piece of music,
I play it a LOT slower, but still sounds lively,
Xx
SAME GAHAHAHAHAHA
Brilliant.
Fun to watch the little dancing lights, too.
Came here to see a good performance of this piece. Was not disappointed. Immediate sub!
I'm learning this now. Quite tricky, even the LH can be hard to get accurate. Planning to be active again soon?
Please play that on your channel
@@justsomerandomasshole3699 Will do, once I master it
it will be the greatest day of my life if you play this masterpiece :)
@@TheFlamingPianoyou can play some of the hardest piano pieces lmao, how is this waltz difficult for you?
@@TheFlamingPiano the coordination is one of the hardest parts
I played this in a competition when I was a kid 💔 Back when I played ten times better than I do now! 😅
me too hahaa
same :'))
My man out here doing everything Rosseau uses for his outros and intros and channel name as well… Voltaire? Jesus, some good pianists here.
You are very underrated. I hope you get the attention you deserve. I'll share this video and channel to help as much as I can.
Leave their arms. That's not what matters. What matters is that they play good af, and none of us has anything to do with their body. In all my years watching classical music in yt I've never had to write over something like this, I guess I thought music made people more kind and united us all, but I was clearly wrong, since now people forget the true reason why they come to some video and start commenting on other people's bodies. If it's to write anything, write about their amazing skills.
Some people may take it as a sign that this performance was done by AI. There's plenty out there that mimic this style.
Chopin's most beautiful pieces are those that he didn't even want to be published...
FR
@@Lightning23Lion Yeah he wanted pieces like this one to be burned after his death. Thankfully, whoever got hold of them didn't burn them
Note: some of them were actually burned
@@T-J-S damn such a shame, well sometimes it happens with geniuses that they despise their own work, but imo it's his best waltz
I am learning this piece, and it is one of the hardest ones yet! It is very beautiful in a chaotic way, and it seems like a mixture of temperamental and excited emotions.
I started playing this peace yesterday and I think it’s not that hard
@@ilonarapakko9972 That's great! I guess my fingers just can't handle this! ;)
Don’t worry, I just turned 11 and I can’t handle this so it’s not your fault! 😅
If you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly-
@@veronicaliu2483 it’s okay, not everyone’s at the same level 😂
Magnifique interprétation de ce morceau de choix.. - Merci infiniment à vous 🌼☘️
Amazing start!!
Oh how i love this piece
Every single virtuosic piano piece has a freaking ad for Simply Piano!!!
I've just received this piece without knowing it and listening for the first time I think I can just take my fingers of right now 😬
This is amazingly beautiful! Very wel performed.
You're bach! Outstanding!
it is absolutely unbearable listening to this piece because it reminds me of someone, but here i am listening to it in hopes i might find the courage to start learning this piece
Do it!
The best way to get thru the pain is to power thru it.
You WILL come out stronger, I promise.
Crazy high quality videos!
Just subbed!
You too, nice transcriptions👍
This is actually beautiful! Chopin is the best for this! Found a Rousseau like channel, already found Kassia! New subscriber! ;) ♥️
week 2 of giving it everything i have to avoid this video and every other video of this waltz to avoid falling in love with this masterpiece of a chopin piece since my piano mentor assigned me the op. 64 series instead. (not that im complaining, but geez this waltz is just so brilliant, its deviously following me around now.)
same, have you tried valse op 64 no 2?

I just love it, such a great piece. Easily my favourite now. And the performance is right on point imo, perfect tempo, not too fast, thanks
It's a beautiful piano, beautiful music add beautiful color piano, perfect
Angela Li there is wrong notes, speed and rhythm just because he edited the video does not make it perfect
@@ianan5509 Could you please tell me where he plays the wrong notes, and where the rhythm and speed is incorrect please?
@@brnico6184
2:08 wrong notes in The right hand and wrong rhythm, also for the second theme section it is marked dolce try to play with more freedom, less rushed, and know your intention when phrasing, the ending arpeggio make it lead to the low e don’t accent every single note, also the last four chords are way under your played tempo. Happy now?
Ian An yes,I know, but it's still good
@@ianan5509 uhm, it was just a question, I wanted to fix what I was playing because it was the same as in the video. Thanks anyways...
Simplemente "Maravilloso".

Perfect, the emotions in play are just mind-blowing
I can't listen to this piece without thinking of Jerome Robbins' ballet piece The Mistake Waltz lol
This was played beautifully of course, by the way!!
I might create a channel called Montesquieu now...
And I'll do one called Montaigne
I’ll do one called Kant
DO IT
No cabe duda que era un genio...
Why’s this so epic
Your channel is really quite similar to rousseau. The lights look extremely similar. Even the name of your channel. Voltaire was a philosopher during the enlightenment era, just like Rousseau was. Just thought this was interesting
You're a genius ain't u
My piano teacher gave this piece to me as my second song after learning sonata 1 by Mozart it sounds beautiful but I’m scared now
lmao RIP
Bruh its piece not song bo
It’s fine. You just need to practice 40 hours a day
If I’m on the 4th page out of 6 you can do it :D
@@lilaclily3597 being related to LingLing helps, too… daily LingLing workouts are always good, too…

It good that you recorded this with your fingers, if you didn’t I wouldn’t have known it was possible.
You are being a little bit too dramatic for a chopin waltz
the title made me subscribe
Era un genio....amo su música.....como lo admiro ....siempre será mi maestro......el es el mejor pianista que ha existido ....
I've always wondered what makes the piano sound so clear like bells? What gives it that tone that I hear so clearly in more modern compositions such as this one? You hear it especially in the higher pitches in the beginning of this piece, not so much in the middle sections.
♫ Deleite para mis oídos ♫

I love this Waltz but I’m a bit nervous to try it…
It is definitly hard, but the notes align most of the time so if u take ur time you should be fine
It’s actually a lot easier than it looks
Why
It’s not that hard hard How it looks
It’s much easier than something like waltz op 64. It’s not very difficult so give it a go
Came from Mistake Waltz
It's like Rosseau's cousin
lol
1:15, 2:38 -- Moving your hands out of the way so that you can cut the recording and try the next parts separately instead of playing the entire piece fully. Slick, lol.
I don’t think that’s the case
I dont think he did that. Even if he did, I dont think that is a problem. He played it and provided us with a good recording.
Rousseau do that also
It sounds different without any cuts, because your hands are more tired so lol what a scam
At 0.75x sounds the best to me..
Pure
what is it with piano youtubers naming themselves after enlightenment thinkers?? you are voltaire, and there is someone named rosseau lol.
Just a very fancy way to name yourself actually, sounds very cool tbh.
Just came to check out my new piano piece😳 this is gonna take a min to learn lmaoo

R u Lingling? How can you learn so fast??? 😂😂

Even Lionel (MusicalBasics) couldn't play it properly on stream yesterday.
The left hand of winterwind sounds just so flat if you don't have control of you're right hand.
This on the other hand kinda reminds me of my own showoff piece, it's isn't that hard but instead of just sounding hard chopin managed to make something beautiful
