an absolute beginner probably. these are for learning to play essentially. like how they teach you really dumb over the top math formulas in school that you will literally never use just to teach you the mechanics. this is teaching you about frame traps and building combos and inputs. a lot of them will never come up like the cool ass ciel corner carry airdash one. when you learn how stuff blends together and kinda feel out the individual moves you can combine them however you like, like learning guitar.

Ikr!! Im learning the game for the first time rn, any idea how he kept the combo going after the side switch move? The combo counter stops for me when I do it
The interesting thing about Shiki's Last Arc is that it's one of the only moves (if not the only one) that always deals the same damage to the HP bar (~66%), regardless of how much you reduced the damage in the settings.

I always end up whiffing the 2A -> 2C combo after 22B shown in 0:16, not sure if i'm timing it improperly since 2A connects but 2C whiffs right after

Just wondering, how does one perform an Arc Drive? I’ve been trying to do Ryougi’s Arc Drive in Heat and was never able to pull it off
During Heat, input 426C to enter that mode and then chain different moves at a proper rhythm. It can break easily if your timing is off.

@@tmkai607 You can definitely do this on a keyboard. The following attacks are simply one direction plus one button (4C, 8C, etc.)

@@tmkai607 I had to practice csatsuki cmd grab on key and my advice is to just practice doing it fluidly but slowly so you can work that muscle memory up. It helps that it's just a straight line if yr directions are just like wasd

@@Chillgamesh nah, as feats and scails go, I would say, they can fight and slaughter most servants with variating difficulty. Ofcause, I am not expecting them to win against Scathach or Edmund, let alone Budha or mhXX, but Gilgamesh and Artoria are getting their asses handeld to them.
Cu and Emiya would probably give a good fight on the other hand.
And before you answer, what I think, you are about to answer - no, Nasu saying, that Ciel and Ryougi's third personality can fight average servants only defensively does not in any way disprove anything of what I just wrote on my opinion.

It's basically following the numpad on the right of a regular PC keyboard, where the numbers are arranged in 3 by 3 and have arrows:

A few might be? It's been a long while and I can't recall. Also because of the juggle height decrease mechanics, sometimes the exact route would not work on all but increasing or decreasing the number of hits could make it work on certain characters.
a can you tell me how to do jump cancel , cause i kinda new to fighting game like this
When a jump-cancellable move (like a light or medium attack on the ground) connects, input a jump command and your character would jump off the ground after that attack. It's a smooth sequence of motions so do not wait until after seeing your attack connects. Think of it as if inputting any move that follows up the jump-cancellable move.
If you know how to do a fireball after a normal attack, jump cancelling is no different. You are just cancelling that normal attack with a jump instead of a fireball.

@@hikarihakai1285 What matters is the revival of this great fighting game!! It´s been kept in the dark for so long. I just found out about it a few years ago, and the latest update of the old one (Melty Blood Actess Again Current Code) wasn´t on Steam until 2016. So yeah, very happy.

you can buy a gamepad and plug it in. if you have a console just use that pad if it's usb. you don't need like a fight stick or anything. you could even play with a keyboard, it's actually fairly competitive to do so. a hitbox is one of the most popular ways to play and it's basically just a keyboard.

Simply do a throw in the air, by holding on to → and press A+D in the air.

As long as you start a combo with an air throw, you should get the ground bounce. Doing it after any attack would cause a hard knockdown like in the combo against Ciel.
