They don't take very long at all! The hardest part is getting the supplies but you can make them in less than 30 minutes while you're watching the news or something.
You're welcome. I don't know what field you're working in but I found some nice buttons at Hobby Lobby to use next time. They are called dress it up buttons and they have all different types of themes. I'm going to start doing haul videos to show where I get all my crafts from.
I got it from Hobby Lobby but you can also get a " white grease pencil or its also called a China marker". The pick me up tool is great but it kinda gets too sticky.
I ordered a bunch of charms, cabochons, and other creative items from a store on ebay called dedicraft I believe. The Mickey Mouse cut-out is a charm that came in several colors and I just glued it down and filled it in with rhinestones
That's just a regular syringe. I just started using them a couple of months ago and it's the best. It would be hard to draw letters, or shapes without it plus you can work faster and it stops the glue from drying out so fast. A couple of websites like, lovetocrystal, have them for less than 2 dollars and they have starter kits and other tools.
That's a good question. With these particular "acrylic rhinestones" that are "good quality" although they are cheap I have not had any of the cracking to the silver backing. However, I know what you're talking about b/c I did have that happen to the "plastic gemstones" that I bought from Joann's Fabric and Michael's. The E6000 makes them look sort of shattered or like a spider web. Hot glue doesn't do that (but it won't work good for this project. I'll test Fabric Tac and Gem Tac soon.
Thanks for the compliment! I just made one the other day with some buttons from Hobby Lobby and it was so freakin cute. Only took me about 5 minutes. I'll have some new videos coming soon. Plus I got some BIGGER & BETTER badge holders to work with that have an ink pen attached from ebay.
You are so welcome. I have a few new ones to upload and I made the cutest one for a nurse that I work with for less than $2. It's so cute. I'll do a video on that one next week.
Ok that's what happened to me with the shirt that I did a video on. It was my first time working with Gem-Tac. I also was washing the shirt b/c Gem-Tac was supposed to be waterproof but they all eventually fell off. E-6000 has given me the best results.
Well u should make it from 5-7 dollars since no one is going to pay that much OR what u do is use up all or most of ur supplies add up the prices add about 3-4 dollars and divide it by the number of badges u did like for example u paid 30 dollars for all ur badge supplies now add 3 dollars or so making it 33 dollar now let's say u did 11 of them wit all that so now u divide 33 by 11 getting 3 making ur price three dollars if ur not happy with that price put it up at least 2 dollars
Hey, I got the pick me up tool from Hobby Lobby for about $7. If you print the 40% off coupon out or show it at the register on your phone you can get it for about $4.
Thank you for sharing,Please keep posting! Is there a reason you prefer to use that specific glue? Do you think a hot glue gun would work just as well?
I use E-6000 the most because I've had really good results with it. I don't think hot glue is good for this particular project b/c it dries too fast. I also think that E-6000 is stronger and has more flexibility. In my very first YT video I did a whole pair of shoes with hot glue but I was using big gems and it worked pretty good but for these small rhinestones I don't think you'd have time to bling it before the glue dries. If you're using bigger items then it would probably work great.
My co-worker bought those retractable badge holders at Walmart. I think they were like $4 for 6. I saw some at Hobby Lobby for twice the price though. I'm going to try to find some clear ones online.
I know RIGHT! I was so mad that I didn't think of it earlier. I bought a blinged out lanyard for $10 that EVERYBODY at my job has instead of making me a cuter one-of-a-kind badge holder. Ughhhhhh LOL. I'm getting "STALKED" by my coworkers to make more. Maybe for Christmas gifts.
What store do you buy your retractable badge holders from. Is it best to get them by 10's or by 100. What store do you get your cabochons in too for a variety and good price and what size.
was wondering as to where you got the tube you used to dispense the glue? ive found the other products online but wondered if it had to be a specific dispenser?
Thanks! My supervisor wants me to make her an "eye". She's going to buy fake lashes and I'm going to attempt to make a rhinestone eye. I think it'll be creepy looking LOL
Where do you get the hello kitty's and the bows? Thank you soooo much!!! I've been selling them like crazy at school!! The nursing students love them. Thanks!
I love 💕 your ideas 💡 very cute badge reel
They are so pretty
Thank you sooooooooo much!!! I have been trying to find out how to make these FOREVeR!!!! I'm going to start soon, you're tutorial is PERFECT!!
OMG girl those are so freakin' cute and creative...I wear the exact same badge and I would have NEVER thought to do that!!!
This was uploaded in 2012 - and here it is 2018. Still so cute. Very nice creativity!
So cute!
I've been watching someone that use your same technique like the pick up stick, the syringe for the glue and how you decorate it
Great video. How do you know what size "bling" to look for & where do you buy them from
They don't take very long at all! The hardest part is getting the supplies but you can make them in less than 30 minutes while you're watching the news or something.
Nice.. Aaugh I need me a jewel sticky pen.😁
How clever to use the eye dropper! Very cute
Where do you get the little bows?

Great video and ty for the tutorial! What size rhinestones should I use and does the pencil work better or the pickup tool?

iDionce where did you get your stones from
Love them!!! I'm gonna attempt to do one and if it works out, I'll have a nice side hustle too! Thanks!!!
Hello, how much do you charge for these?
Yeah thing is I have the crackle issue on the rhinestones with E6000 and is smells lol. But I agree it does work the best!

I was curious if you knew how to get a picture onto the badge? like a cute saying or something????
Kimberly Bartlett I was wondering the same thing?
Where do u find those recyclable badge holders cuz at the walmart where I'm a bout to start working I don't see any
Aymber Shehadi dollar tree they have blk green blue pink 3 in a pak for 1$
Thank you for sharing, I love the idea of putting the e6000 in the syringe genius.....I will be stealing this idea....
Question how much should charge to make them for people. I made a few but can't think of a price..
You generally triple the cost of your supplies.

Does the E6000 ever distort or crack the backing of your rhinestones? Ive had this happen.
they are so cute what size stones did you use
Love your video! Thank you! Where do you buy your retractable badge holders?
I have found mine at the Dollar Tree - there are 3 in a package for $1. They were found in different colors as well.

It's just a small medical syringe. You can get one from your doctor's office.
