@@RaizSpace Was re-watching and it occured to me that you have two runway statics in the same place at KSC, where one is on top of the other. The top static got destroyed when you crashed the first time and you used the measuring tool on the bottom one, then on your second try the top runway respawned. This explains why the script landed hard and short, it was effectively aiming 'underground'
Well, that and it was slow due to the drag chute as you said during the stream. Yes, it seems the top static - supplied by the old Real Launch Sites mod - returned to us for the landing even though it was gone during the rover drive.
The KU-band should install on the front most node in the payload bay, with the dish facing inward when it's stowed. The node is a bit hidden with the docking adapter, so the easiest would probably be to put on the antenna first, then the adapter.

That's just stock, but you have to activate "Advanced Tweakables" in the menu.
