I have to disagree with a lot of what he says. I consider myself religious after having taken multiple psychedelics in my life in pretty high doses, that being said though I find some issues with the way people look at how god views the world. I've done some horrible things in my life and I'm not proud of them, but without doing those horrible things I wouldn't have realized that I needed to change. You have to hit rock bottom before you can help yourself and get back onto your feet, which means you'll be making mistakes in life and that's completely normal. What I believe matters is how you feel inside, even if you make bad decisions are you still a good person and care about others, your family friends and nature. Being true to yourself is how I base the quality of my actions, where if I'm lying to people and I know I'm doing it and don't care then that would be more serious. Regret is what defines purity of your soul is essentially what I'm saying. If you regret terrible actions made by you or someone else, it shows you care and are a good person at heart, so I don't believe that god will judge you on individual actions but how you felt after you did them, how it made you feel at points in your life. You cannot measure actions only in the moment, they have to be gauged through time. This is why I disagree with what he's saying about the lying, stealing and lusting over someone. I've accidentally stolen something as a child I didn't know I had it in my pocket by the time we had gotten home, so does that then mean I committed a sin since I felt bad about it and was honest to my parents? Do people with chemical imbalances, psychopaths, sociopaths, Tourette Syndrome and other issues then mean they're bound for hell regardless of their ailments? What about a child that dies in the mothers womb? Was that child sinful before birth? As you can start to see, the way he's explaining it doesn't make sense because god would take all of those into consideration, but it feels more like he's guilt tripping her and the worst thing you can do for converting someone is guilting someone into changing their ways by guilting them and threatening them by saying they'll go to hell. If you look at the comments, everyone is saying how she's attentive, attractive and wholesome. If you're seeing and feeling that, then she's a good soul regardless of her actions she has previously made, she's just young and needs time to understand and the only way she will be able to is by making mistakes.
Talking to people this way is so amazing. There are people who drive others away because they're not so soft-spoken. He makes people listen and not feel that he's judging them. I love it. I hope to talk this way to others.
Please don’t talk this way to others because he’s trying to brainwash that poor girl. And he’s being VERY negative. He’s got very negative vibes and he’s manipulative and besides that, he’s just wrong with everything he said.
As someone who is currently atheistic, and has been exploring the extremes and various counterpoints given by ideologies, I find this man to be very well spoken, and very approachable when compared to many Christians that seem to think of believing in their God as a given. I've found that many Christians that I've met in person as well as made contact with online often show that they sort of believe that those who do not believe in/follow the Bible to be something that is negative instead of an experience to teach someone, and I often find those that try to teach others using techniques that aren't often effective. This is the first time I have actually felt that I could have a completely positive interaction with someone of the Christian faith, and I applaud this person for being non-judgmental and open to positive discussions like this. This is the first Christian channel that I have ever subscribed to as a result of this, and I encourage all people, regardless of faith or situation, to interact with others of opposing viewpoints in this way shown in the video.
@Justin Gary I appreciate the reply, I have requested to follow your Instagram, I'm not sure really where to begin with questions, but I am open to hearing about your viewpoints as you seem to be very open and kind at heart. Thank you 👍
@Justin Gary My problem with Ray is that he consistently makes false statements about what atheism is and about what scientific evidence tell us about how our world came to be the way it is today. For instance, being an atheist does not mean that you believe "nothing created everything" as he claims in this video. He continues to do stuff like this even though his errors have been pointed out over and over and over again. For skeptics, it's exhausting and frustrating. How are you supposed to have a genuine conversation with someone you disagree with when they refuse to understand your position?
I still cry when I think about the day I was saved. I never knew until the weight were lifted from me. I’ve tried sharing to others but I get too emotional
It's probably a gift that you get emotional. People need to see how powerful God's love is. Ask the Lord if He wants to use that powerful emotion to minister to others. I think He will say yes!
Stand your ground young lady. This stooge is just giving you some dime store philosophy. And his opinion, nothing more. He has no answers and no arguments. Just because HE BELIEVES, doesn't mean that it's true. Another religious bully who's trying to brainwash a child. That's repugnant at best. We're told that religion instills morality in us. Just the opposite in this video. What we see is an adult trying very hard to manipulate the mind of a grade schooler with FEAR. The cornerstone of religion. But I noticed she couldn't wipe that smirk off her face. She's too smart to fall for tricks. You failed miserably in your attempt to convert. I’ve found that soft spoken graceful conversations about Jesus and his love moves mountains in peoples hearts! That being with the hilt spirit guiding me as it were!
I'm going through the same thing, after becoming Christian in 2020 (convid did it for me), and I have the zeal but I know in my heart that I have to tone it down and be more intentional and do a better job of representing the God I hold dear. God bless you!
After 40 years I still find myself learning Gods ways . We should always be kind when giving answers for the hope that lies within us . But sometimes we must be more dogmatic with our points . At times Jesus was soft and kind in his teachings . The women at the well . Other times he was not so soft . Speaking with the pharisees in John 8 he said their father was the devil . Even when my kids or dog go to cross the street , I can gentle say wait a second . if they continue to cross and a car is coming my verbal command is yelled .. STOP . My point is that the ramifications of peoples decisions make a big difference in them going to heaven or hell . Sometimes we need to turn it up some so the people realize the stakes ....Good luck and God bless .
Same ! I was super passionate trying to save my friends. As I got older I learned to just - plant the seed. I brought 2 friends to church once. Both foster kids one with a history of drugs. Sadly they got together and hooked the second friend on drugs for a bit. I ran into the drug user years ago and he said - his cousin had invit3d him to church and brought him warm feelings of when I first took him. Becausw of that he agreed to go to church. Second friend. She has a son and reached out to me as she wanted to go to church she said the year I took her she was filled with so much hope and she missed that. She has not found a church and her and her son are going now. She originally wanted to send only him and I had to say there is no point if he learns but comes home and sees different examples ... he's going to lose his way. So it motivated her to go. So proud of her as she overcame such a harsh childhood and now she's filled with hope and faith. Always plant that seed, you'll never know when it'll sprout. It was planted when she was 14, 20 years later there she is =)

@@albaraka7319 The basis of your question addresses the basis of faith. Science/ mathematics also have faith/ assumptions. Take for instance if something hasn’t been proved/ discovered. The assumption is that the scientific process will eventually figure it out, scientists will eventually figure it out. That is having faith in science. Not saying it’s proof of my God. However, I am saying that even the process that discovers and proves the reality we live in even has faith involved. Even something as solid sounding as math has assumptions. And assume/having confidence something is true when not “proven” is having faith. So in a kind rebuttal I would ask, can you prove the scientific/ mathematical assumptions that are foundational? And when inevitably you can’t, through no fault of your own, and now you are claiming to have faith, what will that mean? There are many things people claim as real and accept as reality and have faith in. I am not saying this proves God but rather, asking to prove a holy transcendent being through the scientific processes which is also inherently built on assumptions and requires faith in silly, hypocritical, and ultimately doesn’t disprove a God.
@@vnapodcast6739 "Take for instance if something hasn’t been proved/ discovered. The assumption is that the scientific process will eventually figure it out, scientists will eventually figure it out. That is having faith in science." Uh no it's not. And I know of no scientist who says that. Science is about what can be shown to be real with testable evidence. If you have testable evidence to show something is real then that's not faith but the opposite of faith. "Not saying it’s proof of my God. However, I am saying that even the process that discovers and proves the reality we live in even has faith involved." Not really. You don't see a doctor prescribing medicine based on faith rather than test results do you? "Even something as solid sounding as math has assumptions." And we made math to aid in understanding what is real. And we base results not on absolutes but not on blind faith either. "So in a kind rebuttal I would ask, can you prove the scientific/ mathematical assumptions that are foundational?". What are you talking about? Can I prove science and math? "and now you are claiming to have faith, what will that mean?". It will mean you didn't craft a coherent question. "I am not saying this proves God but rather, asking to prove a holy transcendent being through the scientific processes which is also inherently built on assumptions and requires faith in silly, hypocritical, and ultimately doesn’t disprove a God." Well that was rather pointless. You tried to say that science requires faith. To be fair that would depend on what you mean by faith. But in general if by faith you mean the belief in something without evidence when science is based on evidence then that is by definition incorrect on your part. And I asked if you could demonstrate via testable evidence to show a god to exist and ultimately you didn't do that. Can I disprove a god? No. But I never tried to nor do I need to. The burden of proof is on the one making the claim not the other way around. I need to disprove your god just as much as you need to disprove big foot.
@@ch1ppz430 bible quotes do just as much to prove your god as Quran quotes prove Allah. None. The book is the claim not the evidence. You don't verify a claim with a claim. Because if you did then all gods would be real just because someone claimed it.

Satan makes them blind every one of them is working for satan, and they dont know it because the literal demons they carry aren't hurting them too bad... yet.once they find out its there they will stop sinning and cast it out. The demons always attack the weaker vessel.
I mean... Did he make it obvious that he is the real God, the god from the bible? Why wouldn't it be something like for example, the one from the Coran. Any religion could make that claim and it would hold true. Not only that but is not obvious. After all, the assumption of this video is that 1. Scientists don't know yet heat happened before the Big bang therefore it must be god 2. The cause of the universe must be an acasual sentient entity, eliminating any other possibilities such as the cause of the universe being an acasual event or an acasual object or even an acasual non-sentient entity. Those claims are verry unjust in terms of evidence to prove that a God and specifically your god is the cause of it all. But as long as you aren't persecuting or hurting anyone , to each their own
Even if he said who created the Creator, the atheist wouldn't be satisfied. We would never get to the end of it. Who created the Creator and who created the Creator's Creator? etc.
Even if God had a creator, then they’d ask “well who created that creator”. God is eternal, meaning He is, has been and always will be. He exists outside of time, He created time. How can He not have a creator, I don’t know. Sometimes it’s ok to just say “I don’t know”. We aren’t meant to know everything. I think it’s arrogant of mankind to demand an explanation of how God wasn’t created. If He wanted us to know that, He would have had that put in the Bible. But I think in death, all will be revealed, we will have a better understanding.

@@Reform_Earth TL;DR Christianity is not man-made, it is truly divine. You can read all of this and still come up with some argument, and we'd go back and forth endlessly, but thats not what God wants. Jesus loves you It is either a fairytale, a myth, or a legend. People who believe it is a myth commonly believe that Jesus is an amalgamation of 19 other Gods who were baptized, crucifed, resurrected, et cetera. This was made up by two guys in the 1900s who had no evidence, thus Christianity is not a myth. Some people believe it is a fairytale, because there is no evidence, even though theres plenty of evidence. Look at the Bible, a 1st century manuscript written by different people alive during Jesus' existence. Theres no evidence of Alexander the Great until 400 years after he died, but he still existed... right? Nearly all historians, Christian or not, believe Jesus existed, thus Christianity is not a fairytale. Some people believe Christianity is a legend, that Jesus was a person, but that everything he preached was religious embellishment at best or totally made up at worst. Evidence of Christianty goes back ~55 AD, so his disciples must have made him up, BUT, they all died brutal deaths for it. Would you die for something you knew was a lie? Some believe it was just a story told at a campfire... That a man sent by God who claimed to be the son of God rose from the dead, healed thousands, fed thousands, changed the weather, moved mountains, walked on water, AND loved his enemies, they believe eachother and retold the story until 2.18 billion people have heard the campfire story? I'm probably only halfway through all the replies so who knows, maybe somebody will magically change my mind about religion, but for now being on the sidelines of these debates is hilarious and really intriguing.
Think about _what_ though? You'll notice Comfort provided no evidence indicating a god actually exists. Well what's the one thing we'd need to justify belief in a god? _Evidence a god actually exists!_ To put it another way: imagine Gary shows up in the thread and starts saying you've violated Leprechaun Law by doing things like lying/etc, and the penalty is eternal punishment. He says the only way to appease the leprechauns is to believe in them as your lords and saviors. Should you change your behavior based on Gary's non-evidenced threats? You shouldn't. Gary doesn't have evidence of leprechauns, doesn't have evidence of Leprchaun Law, doesn't have evidence of an eternal punishment, and doesn't have evidence of a way to avoid that punishment by belief in leprechauns. In other words, Gary's position is non-existent nonsense. Just like Ray Comfort's position.
No actual evidence was provided, especially not for his very particular God. Think about that. A painting might require a painter, a building a designer and so on. We know that because we have witnessed a painter painting or a designer designing a house. Have we ever witnessed someone or something create a reality? I don't think so, there is no reason to believe that it happened or could happen.
Jesus also provides an evidenc through the Bible: ““If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.” John 7:17 "Seek and you shall find." (Part from Matt 7:7) If you are genuinely seeking Jesus, He will reveal Himself to you in a way or another, because God cannot lie. You may pray and ask Jesus to help you find Him. I say this because you seem to be genuine. Most people who back up, often do it for the fear of opinions of other people. But now, if we're talking about life and death, isn't it much more worth it to really know the truth? I'll remember you in prayers. God's love is a true love we won't understand until we have it in us through His Holy Spirit.
There's a silver lining in an entire generation raised outside of God's light... When they finally hear the true Gospel, the first glimpse of that light can always be seen clearly.
You see the light within this girl? It was there before Ray found her. He will extinguish that light and turn her into a zombie, who has no curiosity, and no love for life.
The most convincingly argument for God ,to me, is: There is no way a bunch of sandal wearing backward uneducated hicks could write such an astounding historical / moral book like the Bible without divine inspiration !
I'll help. If you keep backtracking by asking the question of how things started, you'll eventually hit a wall at who started the big bang. The initial bang created the finite amount of matter in this universe. But who caused the big bang? You see, at the start of this universe the only logical explanation is that there is an uncaused cause, an eternal mind with no beginning nor end, someone who exists outside the parameter and limits of time. An all-powerful being who exists beyond the universal limits and can bend the laws of nature performing creation and miracles, and all-seeing and all-knowing mind that can observe our 3-dimensional reality in one glance (which would imply a being 4 dimensions or higher even). This scientific analysis of 2D, 3D and 4D removes the impossibility of God.
@@jhedjoardumago7691 In a nutshell, yes, thanks. I'd add some minor tweaks that I think are important. "If you keep backtracking by asking the question of how things started, you'll eventually hit a wall at who/what started the big bang, as this is what scientists today have confirmed to be the origin point and beginning of the universe we live in. That initial event we call the big bang created the finite amount of matter in this universe. But who/what can cause the big bang? Everything that begins has a cause for it's beginning. You see, in order to cause an event such as the big bang, the only logical explanation is that there is an uncaused first cause - an eternal, immaterial, spaceless, powerful, personal and intelligent being with no beginning nor end, someone who exists outside the parameters and limits of space, time and matter. A being that exists beyond the universal limits and is the one who set and fine-tuned them. A being that can observe our 3-dimensional reality in one glance (which would imply a being that inhabits a 4+-dimensional realm). This scientific analysis of 2D, 3D and 4D removes the impossibility of God. Generally, God is what most people would say fits the description of an eternal, immaterial, spaceless, powerful, personal and intelligent being."
@@jhedjoardumago7691 A few mistakes i noticed in this question. 1: The assumption of needing an outside cause is unjustified. If a building falls down, it doesnt mean that something outside caused it. Simply put, it could cause itself to fall down. 2: The assumption of the big bang being the beginning of the universe is extremely outdated. It wasn't much after the theory was first propsed that we realized that it is not the beginning of the universe, simply the expansion. or in other words, the beginning of the universe in the form we know it as. 3: The universe encompasses all that lives, assuming a god would be outside that is textbook special pleading.
This is another fun way to think about this “who created God” point that seems to be a problem. If I manufacture playdough and then create something out of it, do I necessarily have to follow the laws of my playdough creation? If so, how on earth could I have created the playdough if I were made out of playdough myself? What happens if the little playdough people I make, whose entire world is shaped by playdough, get together and decide that they simultaneously spawned into existence - that *I* don’t exist simply because I’m not made out of playdough? This argument is perfectly logical to those little people, because everything they’ve ever known has been made out of playdough. They have no evidence to believe that something not made of playdough created them. Of course, none of these arguments have any impact on my existence. If you choose to reject the reality that God created you, the burden is on *you* to develop your own perfectly sound, scientific explanation on how the universe came about. Whatever it may be, it will take just as much, if not more faith to believe in than the explanation that a non-playdough entity created us playdough people.
Even though most of your videos go through the same steps, this is your best. It explains your shift in topics, it's just from A to B in a succinct manner. I love it!
@guitarszen How is it a false equivalence? Can you point to any other point in history in which nothing created something? Or when non-life created life? Matter and energy cannot be created, yet it exists. So that in itself is evidence that there's something beyond what our science can tell us.

Then I will explain using logic, context, and explanation to show you Yahweh is to be glorified per even the verses you bring up. If you are a Muslim just respond "I'm a Muslim" and then I'll just assume you are too stupid to explain yourself as that has always been the case for me and I'll just begin, but it would be nice to see an asshole actually be able to use words to explain how and why they bring up a Bible verse or a Quranic verse. I have good reason to believe all Muslims are stupid. Not a damn one of them has ever begun the debate once I put the Quran or Bible in context or use simple reasoning and thus since I have dealt with hundreds of these idiots I make the assumption. They are all prideful fools who had no debate skills. By all means, prove me wrong. The best I ever got was a Muslim who threatened me with his 8 year old nephew who memorized the Quran. I told him bring 'em, but the fool never did as he was smart enough to know if his nephew met me the child would have a heart not hardened enough to recognize truth and so I never met that nephew in a debate yet. Unless the dip shit grew up in a vacuum and then met me as an adult and fell into the same category as the rest of the dipshits I have met. Since you seem to have me over a barrel with slavery in Leviticus 25:46, here is logic for you to think about. If you really want to begin a debate on the others be a man. You know, be a big boy and stick your neck out with your actually stupid thoughts and maybe I'll believe you got something. "Stealing a man (person) whether selling or attaining, they surely must die." - Exodus 21:16 There is three possibilities allowed in the Bible: (1) War reparations, (2) indentured service, or 3) the purchasing of a family member out of slavery. (1) The conquered nation must pay their war reparations, (2) people need jobs when they are in need, (3) family members should work to return the loss of the payment for the benefit of those who are losing inheritance due to the payment out of slavery. In all three cases refusal to work would be worthy of strong aversive punishment to induce work. Why? (3) Because if my brother pays to get me out of slavery then shame on me for not working to restore my nephews' inheritance. (2) Because if my brother offers to feed my wife and kids during tough times then shame on me if upon good times I refuse to finish the seven years of work because I would rather seek my best interests. (1) Because if your father slew those who give you a home and food, then you are disrespecting the dead, and the mercy you received to be allowed to live. Care to evaluate Methodists and Quakers using the Bible to end the brand of slavery you people hate today which was begun by and still practiced by Islam?

Isaiah 52:7 "anything is befitting on Haran, The Way, Good News, Good News, hear peace "Joshua" (or Jesus in Greek) utter in Zion The Word of God is ours, the King reigns." Haran's name means mountain because of what he did on a mountain doing Iscah or fathering it in the family of Terah and then being slain like a dog before Terah (his father) in the land of Ur of the Chaldeans. This how Yahweh called Abraham and Terah and Lot and Sarah out of Ur and the first region they went to became know as Haran for over four thousand years because of what Haran did at the top of a mountain doing "blood sacrifice for sin" (Iscah - the commanded observance) and Haran gained persecution for Haran was not above his master (Christ Jesus) and thus "anything is befitting." Haran gained death, but then so did Paul of Tarsus who went to the third heaven multiple times and heard unutterable words "he bore in his body the marking of Christ Jesus" and yet it was worth giving testimony of Christ Jesus through blood shed in the past as a testimony of Him or by giving the gospel of Christ Jesus in what He did on the cross shedding His blood, because "no foundation can any man lay than that which was laid, the man, Christ Jesus" and "we are not above our master" and thus ought to expect persecution. Guess what? They can kill us, but we declare "The Word of God is ours, the King reigns." Abraham is not dead. God is the God of the living. Hosea 11:7 says, "People are determined for apostasy, proclaiming ALLAH, and none of them shall be exalted."

@@Mark-sc9iu yeah, because atheism isn’t the “belief” in something, it’s the lack of belief in a God. Theists state that a God must exist and have created the universe, atheists admit that there is no way anyone could know how the universe was created for sure (yet). It is the job of the theist to prove that a god created the universe - they’re asserting the claim, so they need to back it up An example would be if someone accused you of stealing a jacket, you would oppose that and ask them for proof. Because they produced the claim, they’re the one who has to provide evidence to support it. It wouldn’t make sense for someone to say that you stole a jacket, and then ask that you provide proof that you didn’t

I will answer what that young girl couldn't (because she's young, and she probably didn't study philosophy or theism very much, I assume) "Paintings prove that there's a painter, Buildings prove that there's a builder, no paint ever painted itself from nothing and no building ever built itself from nothing. Therefore, Creation needs a creator" 1) Well now, why do we know that buildings need a builder? Because we never saw a building building itself (sorry for the repetition, can't get around it without changing the words, and in this context, the choice of words are important). Same thing with Paint and Painter. We DEFINED those words. We MADE THEM UP. To indicate the concepts behind those words. Now, if a blank canvas was on the ground, and an earthquake happened, and colors splashed on the canvas making something that looks like our modern abstract art, would we call it a painting? My answer is, probably no. We would call it garbage. Because it wasn't painted. 2) You're slipping in the word Creator by calling the universe Creation. Why don't you call it Universe. Or "Everything that exists?" By calling it something else, you can make the analogy. Pretty sneaky and dishonest if done on purpose. "What created God? Well, God is timeless" 1) Ok. Let's say that timeless things can do anything, instead of being immobile because... well... Time is what allows movement. Let's say it's possible. Can you prove it? That's just an assertion without evidence. And you know what's needed to dismiss an assertion witouth evidence? Nothing. If you don't know it yet, I present to you Hitchen's Razor en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitchens%27s_razor 2) I assume you're christian since you mentioned passages of the bible. No point in the bible says that God lives in a timeless dimension outside of the Universe. Actually, there's pretty solid evidence that it should live 2500 meters above the Earth. Why? He was afraid of people reaching him by building a Tower. Tower of Babel. Rings a bell? ... now you'll say something like "It's a metaphor for something!". Whatever. My point stands. The bible never said anything about God being timeless. It might have said something about it being eternal, but I can't remember it. But eternal implies a time dimension, so.... Not timeless. "God gave us the ability to enjoy music, the blue sky, through our hearing and eyesight" Well, no. That was actually evolution. You know... that scientifically proven FACT? I would say "Scientific Theory", but then you'd omit the "Scientific" and stick with the "but it's just a theory", and then I'd have to explain that Scientific Theories aren't just theories, are facts, and that there's no such thing as a FACT of General Relativity, or Germ FACT of Disease, or Oxigen FACT of combustion... They're called all theories, not facts. Well... I went and explained it anyways... Also, what the christian God frown upon, under others, is leaving alive the cities where there's infidels or atheists, so hurry up and kill that girl and the whole city, put salt on the earth so that nothing can grow on it. The rest of it, showing she's a sinner? Well, that made my stomach revolt. This means Christians accept that we are all sinners, and that we get forgiven because a man was crucified two thousands years ago. This means they WANT to escape their rightfully earned punishment, doesn't it? Disgusting. Also, WHO made us sinners? WHO made us able to lie, even to make it NECESSARY in a society to lie? God WHO made us imperfect? Yeah... God. This is like someone building a robot, the robot kills a human and we blame the robot. In the eyes of a being that is perfect, with perfect knowledge and perfect unlimited powers, we are nothing more than robots. You can't wave that responsibility away with Free Will. If we made a robot with free will by giving them a random number generator that decides what to do based on randomness (pretty close to Free Will, that robot would be able to choose something different each time), and that robot did something that upsets us, well... We're the ones responsible. Also, saying "Believe or you're going to be judged for your crimes and go to Hell" is plain simple threats. It's like someone told you: "There's an invisible man in front of you, with a loaded gun! You need to join our church or he'll kill you... someday!" Well, that invisible man SHOULDN'T kill us, it is HIM that is evil. Not US for not listening to this charitable ultimatum. "Fear is your friend" So, we're going to say that we need to listen to our fears. I'm afraid of the muslim God too. And of the Geova Witness God. And... And so on. What do I do? Join all the religions of all the lunatics in the world? This girl never heard of the Pascal Wager and its counterarguments. What you did was disgusting. Using fear of an invisible man in the skies to make her... make her join a cult. A cult that shames lgbtq people. A cult that views atheists as demons. A cult that tried its hardest to stop progress for centuries by killing those who brought it as heretics, and then when progress won appropriated that progress, and said "we did it, not atheists" after killing them. Instead of that phamplet which resembles money, she needs to read the actual bible, then she'll forever be saved. She will walk away in disgust from any church. Shame on you.

I am glad that when my grandmother first talked to me about God and Heaven, I'm so happy that at that moment, I never questioned that it wasn't the truth . I'm not saying that I've been a perfect believer in Christ, but I had a great beginning. I love watching these videos and how he puts Christ's realness into people's hearts. I loved this interview. She is a nice kid. My heart prays very intimately for her to God, that He touches her and give her the grace to see hope and happiness in eternity in the presence of God's immaculate love and care. My child, this is right here from my heart. God be with you and bless you.
I just don't like how he questioned her about if she thinks she's a good person. We can see she's a good person but put her down about her mistakes. Every good person in history has made mistakes. How can we preach God's love but constantly point out mistakes/sin. How many times do people have to "repent".
you're clearly missing a few points. None of us are "good people" in God's eyes as a perfect and Holy judge. That's why righteousness can only happen from trusting in Jesus. If he doesn't show lost people they are sinners through the 10 commandments, they won't feel the need to ask for forgiveness or trust in Jesus as their savior at all. They would just assume they are "good enough " by their own efforts. Lastly the one issue I have with ray comfort is that the power to repent is not instantly given to every new christian. overcoming sin is not by our own willpower. It takes time through sanctification from the holy spirit, trusting in Jesus, and lots of daily prayer to help us break our strongholds to truly turn away from sin.
Except he's lacking the information to understand the nothing part of the bigbang doesn't mean that it's actually nothing. Bigbang theory doesn't even explain the bigbang itself. It just explain what happens after the bigbang. The "before bigbang, there was nothing" is said not because there was nothing, is because there is nothing we can understand about it right now, so we just call it nothing. Even the existance of time itself is arguable for the world we live in right now lol. Some people argue that time doesn't exist, what we see as time is just enthropy increasing. It's probably _only_ moving to those already convinced. He presented no evidence (he just said things are true for no reason), so no reasonable person should consider this "moving". Easy, just ask the creator to reveal Himself to you. Ask for a sign of your liking, perhaps a dream. We believe in Jesus Christ not because of a tradition, but because of the great signs and miracles that He did in our lives, proving that He is indeed God. Try it! Your life depends on it!
@@juanranger4214 Ask the creator to reveal himself to you. 🤦🏻♂️ You believe dreams are real as well 🤭. The miracles. It must all be true because it’s in the bible. This is the recipe of indoctrination. If your particular god or any god was a real thing then yes let him reveal himself, instead he plays a game of hide and seek.🤔.
@@juanranger4214how did god do that for you? I asked for this for years and never got it. U am convinced either he doesn’t exist or god is something other than the Christian one.
@@lordsofpondland For almost 22 years of my life I was an atheist, but after many events in my life I started seeking God and even seen some passages of the Holy Bible. One day, I was trying to do this posture exercise called the “crucifix” and I just couldn’t do it over how hard it was. I tried putting loud music to numb my fatigue but I still couldn’t do it. That is when it came to my mind to ask for God to help me, and so He did. I was finally able to do it after calling for Him. Immediately after this, I stood up and started walking around my room wondering what should I do, so all I did was just kneel and said “thank you”. As soon as I did that, I felt like if something warm was being outed on me from above, a shiver took hold of me and I felt an immense feeling of love around me. This is when I knew that God was real and He was the one doing all of this. After this, I have made a new foundation for my life: that God exists, that He saved my life and that He is good. After this, many other events like this unfolded. Here are some: 1. When I first accepted Him and felt His great love and presence, I was led to buy a Holy Bible and start reading it. As I did, one time I was packing my stuff in my local gym’s locker room, then suddenly a man next to me starts talking about how good and great God is. I went to the gym many times in my life and was always very timid and anti social. Whenever people talked to me, it was pretty small talk. Then this man shows up and starts talking about God, the exact same period I started seeking God? Cannot be coincidence, right? So we started talking about God and how I recently joined the faith but I still hadn’t attended any church, so He invited me to the church He visited. I prayed that God would help me find one, so I believe He sent this man forth. So I visited this church and saw that it was good, very receptive and friendly, went to the youth’s gathering and made many friends there, something I never had before. 2. One time, after straying from God and started playing too much videogames, I pretty much felt underserving of God and how I couldn’t control myself. I just wanted to play videogames to relax, yet at the same time I didn’t feel relaxed at all, just this guilt. It was a multiplayer online videogame. However as I was playing the game with guilt in my heart, suddenly a player in the team starts PREACHING THE GOSPEL in the chat box. I have played this game for over 4K hours and I pay much attention to the chat box, which is just pretty much filled with jokes and threats, yet this time as I just couldn’t get God out of my mind, suddenly I see the Gospel mid game? Cannot be coincidence! I still went playing for a little while, but now I too started preaching the gospel mid game. I even managed to help someone that departed from the faith by a traumatic experience get his faith back and read the Bible! 3. I have had an experience with this Evil eye twice. I had one in my home right by our door. It never truly did anything that we noticed, we just let it there because we won it as a gift so we just left it there. One day, I woke up in the middle of the night and I had a sleep paralysis. I prayed to God without stop but it wouldn’t go away, but when I said “in Jesus’s name, leave at once!”, it stoped. Six days later, it happened again, the exact same way, except this time I when I woke up I heard the voice of God saying “protect yourself!”. After these 2 times, God showed me it was the amulet that was causing it, that it was allowing bad spirits inside my home and it was in no way a “protective” charm. I threw it away and all the paralysis episodes stopped. However I did remain skeptical and after some time I thought it was all in my head. So then, a couple of months later, the evil eye came back inside my house in earrings that one of my family members bought. Two days later, I woke up at 7 AM, the sun was out and my room was clear as day. I just lied in my bed, completely rested and calm, and said my morning prayer, asking for Jesus to protect me and my family and ordered all evil spirits to leave my house and my family alone, as usual. However, this time I suddenly heard a “NO”. I thought I was imagining things, then 10 seconds later, I lost all control and sense of my body and felt as if many hands were holding me down on my bed. I struggled to call for the name of Jesus, but when I did, it immediately stopped. I told my family member what happened and he/she agreed to throw it away. Never again I had sleep paralysis. I had problems of very bad constant nightmares as well, and they were very much like one another: a normal setting sets in, something unusual and creepy appears, said creepy thing leaps at me with intent to greatly scare me. Over and over again, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a single night. God showed me that it was the dream catchers. When I managed to throw them out of my house, the nightmares suddenly stopped. This is spiritual warfare, no doubt. I have more if you wish, but know that you yourself cannot reach God and you are entirely dependent on Him coming to you. Have faith that Jesus Christ is indeed the son of God, that He payed for your sins on the cross and God raised Him from the dead so you may be saved and receive His Holy Spirit.
@@lordsofpondland there are other pastors that had moments like this: when someone who wanted to believe in God but could not, so the pastor just stayed with Him talking and reading the word, until something “clicked” inside them and to would make them believe. You are saved by faith, and faith comes from hearing the word of God.

Dangerous territory because you don’t want a young person being ashamed of themselves/guilty, you don't want to dig them deeper. However the more someone does to be a good person, the more they will be able to love themselves, and this can only be achieved if someone learns to tell themselves they are worthy of being a good person, it takes a lot of work to learn self worth and self love. It’s hard thinking of a way to say that where young people will take it seriously. So maybe it’s inevitable that everyone repents at some point because they need life experience to be able to turn to God.
@@ronitsrivastava377there has to be a sentient entity because of the existence of complex systems in life. Complex systems are never seen to come from atoms randomly smashing each other, but only as the resulting works of intelligent minds. Finally, if life does indeed have a creator, He must come before creation itself, otherwise He would have come from nature and therefore, not the creator. Coming before creation, He is unbounded by our space and time, being omnipotent, omnipresent and everlasting. He is the uncaused cause, the primordial eternal cause, He has no beginning nor end and therefore, not created.
@@juanranger4214 Your argument from complexity is relative. Just because something is complex doesn't mean there has to be creator. Just because it looks like it doesn't mean it is. First of all an infinite regression of processes is possible scientifically. There is no necessity of a first cause. Your God existed forever, so can the Universe. The first cause may be something which created time, space and matter and be non living. The introduction of a magical entity breaking science is first not possible to check(as far as we know) and second doesn't solve the infinite regression problem too.
@@ronitsrivastava377 “The introduction of a magical entity breaking science is first not possible to check”. That is where you are wrong. Everybody would be "open to the gospel", if the stories were backed by evidence. They are not. That's why rational, intelligent people don't believe them.
@@jusfugly But the evidence is there. Over 5600 manuscripts of the original text and protected more than any other writing. Manuscripts of what are taught as historical truths are from 8 to 40 manuscripts. The real evidence is stated that you may believe with proof, but the Bible says no, but that God will prove it to you only if you believe first. I believe in Him and I have experienced the most amazing existence since. An existence that is not available to those who don't believe.. And also I have the assurance of eternal life.
@@johnarnold3696 No, the evidence is not there, or anywhere. So many of you deluded believers have told me about this "plenty of evidence", but they never present any. Also, there are no "original manuscripts". Even if there were, how would that, in any way prove that your imaginary god is real? The King James version of the new testament was completed in 1611 by 8 members of the church of England. There were, (and still are) no original texts to translate. The oldest manuscripts we have, were written down hundreds of years after the last appostle supposedly died. There are over 8000 of these old manuscripts with no two alike. The King James translators used none of these anyway. Instead, they edited previous translations to create a version their king and parliament would approve. So, 21st century christians believe the "Word of god", is a book edited in the seventeenth century, from sixteenth century translations of 8000 contradictory copies of fourth century scrolls that claim to be copies of lost letters, written in the 1st century. That's not faith. That's insanity.

After plotting the first eight of the 300 they stopped and said that for just 8 of those prophecies to come true by chance gave a number so big that they stated it had reached impossible probability. 1 in 10 to the 17th power. There are hundreds of proofs like this in the Bible if one would read it. Unfortunately you won't be able to understand much of it because you have to trust in Jesus as Savior and He will open up the meaning, AFTER you trust Him. It will be like reading a foreign language if you try to understand it on your own. You must be born again. There are many things that we see that doesn't make sense, but we believe them anyway. The Bible doesn't make sense until you believe.
1:53 she asked "Who created God?" ... The Bible clearly stated that God is the Alpha and Omega or the Beginning and the End. No one created God, He is simply the beginning because if we assume that there's a supreme being who created God then who also created that supreme being and the cycle continues, asking who existed at the very beginning of creation..... God us just simply the Beginning and He is also the End....
To add onto that stupendous comment, that last sentence is not just Him being unbound by time, but His omnipresence also reaches outside of time as well. He's way back at the beginning, He's right here and now, and He's with the saints in Heaven who are worshipping Him all at the same time (per se). Praise the Lord. Good stuff.

I like everything that this man said, however... It is dangerous ground going around telling people that drinking isn't a sin. The Bible does say "drunkedness", but if you ask yourself "at what point am I drunk?" and then look at all the percentages of alcohol that is illegal in the countries, there is so much differences and variations that, it's almost impossible to know when drunkedness occurs. The best way to never get drunk: don't drink. Same thing with drugs. The way I see it, these bodies are not ours, so we shouldn't intentionally go around damaging them. We can't help but hurt ourselves sometimes with cuts and bruises, but we should uphold our bodies to be healthy and pure because these bodies are the Lord's.
I believe drunkedness is a Sin when you loose control and act badly. But if you personally think no intoxicants should be taken, that's a good position to have. Here are some questions/thoughts I have. Feel free to shed some light of them: God created everything, and willingly allows to exist all suffering, natural disasters, death, sin, the devil, disease, hunger, murder, abuse, discrimination etc, right? Are we supposed to call these things good, or at least not label them as bad, because God created them? We are made in the image of God, but at the same time we are sinful and wicked in nature. Where do these qualities come from since they’re not in the likeness of God? Since they exist, are they not intentionally there by God’s will? What do people mean when they say they ‘feel the presence of God’? Since God is ever-present and is everywhere, can we actually experience the absence of God? I’m a little confused by this. Since God is everywhere, is he also present in hell? Also, my understanding is that the devil is in the world, not in hell at this current time. God is all knowing, so regardless of free will, surely he knows whether he is going to send us to heaven or hell from the beginning of time, before we existed and sinned? Answers welcome :)

I know.. I want to memorize some of the things he says.. So good. Not forcing it down ones throat. Polite, good examples.. love his words.

When I was a new born Christian I was full of zeal and a little forceful but I’ve been in the faith for 10 years now and finally after much trail and Prodigal son behavior I’m on the meat not the milk!

@@albaraka7319 The basis of your question addresses the basis of faith. Science/ mathematics also have faith/ assumptions. Take for instance if something hasn’t been proved/ discovered. Not saying it’s proof of my God. However, I am saying that even the process that discovers and proves the reality we live in even has faith involved.

So in a kind rebuttal I would ask, can you prove the scientific/ mathematical assumptions that are foundational? And when inevitably you can’t, through no fault of your own, and now you are claiming to have faith, what will that mean?
There are many things people claim as real and accept as reality and have faith in.
It is either a fairytale, a myth, or a legend.
Think about _what_ though? You'll notice Comfort provided no evidence indicating a god actually exists. Well what's the one thing we'd need to justify belief in a god? _Evidence a god actually exists!_
To put it another way: imagine Gary shows up in the thread and starts saying you've violated Leprechaun Law by doing things like lying/etc, and the penalty is eternal punishment.

I love it!
It’s manipulative mind control, Ray Comfort is a false teacher.
@guitarszen How is it a false equivalence? Can you point to any other point in history in which nothing created something? Or when non-life created life? Matter and energy cannot be created, yet it exists. So that in itself is evidence that there's something beyond what our science can tell us.

(2) people need jobs when they are in need,
(3) family members should work to return the loss of the payment for the benefit of those who are losing inheritance due to the payment out of slavery.

Isaiah 52:7 "anything is befitting on Haran, The Way, Good News, Good News, hear peace "Joshua" (or Jesus in Greek) utter in Zion The Word of God is ours, the King reigns."
Haran's name means mountain because of what he did on a mountain doing Iscah or fathering it in the family of Terah and then being slain like a dog before Terah (his father) in the land of Ur of the Chaldeans.

He skirts the “Who created God?” question in a way that can deflect a child but an adult would be a bit more difficult. But as an atheist I would say that his answer is basically what I believe about the universe. It has always been here, it will always be here. It wasn’t created.
So using your own logic, you yourself are skirting the issue.
@@Mark-sc9iu yeah, because atheism isn’t the “belief” in something, it’s the lack of belief in a God. Theists state that a God must exist and have created the universe, atheists admit that there is no way anyone could know how the universe was created for sure (yet).
It is the job of the theist to prove that a god created the universe - they’re asserting the claim, so they need to back it up
An example would be if someone accused you of stealing a jacket, you would oppose that and ask them for proof. Because they produced the claim, they’re the one who has to provide evidence to support it. It wouldn’t make sense for someone to say that you stole a jacket, and then ask that you provide proof that you didn’t

I will answer what that young girl couldn't (because she's young, and she probably didn't study philosophy or theism very much, I assume)
"Paintings prove that there's a painter, Buildings prove that there's a builder, no paint ever painted itself from nothing and no building ever built itself from nothing. Therefore, Creation needs a creator"
1) Well now, why do we know that buildings need a builder?
Well, God is timeless"
1) Ok. Let's say that timeless things can do anything, instead of being immobile because... well... Time is what allows movement. Let's say it's possible. Can you prove it? That's just an assertion without evidence. And you know what's needed to dismiss an assertion witouth evidence? Nothing. If you don't know it yet, I present to you Hitchen's Razor
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitchens%27s_razor
2) I assume you're christian since you mentioned passages of the bible.
"God gave us the ability to enjoy music, the blue sky, through our hearing and eyesight"
Well, no.
God
WHO made us imperfect? Yeah...
It's like someone told you:
"There's an invisible man in front of you, with a loaded gun! You need to join our church or he'll kill you... someday!"
Well, that invisible man SHOULDN'T kill us, it is HIM that is evil. Not US for not listening to this charitable ultimatum.
"Fear is your friend"
So, we're going to say that we need to listen to our fears.

@@mrbigjonstud - Amen 😇 - I bend the Knee and repent everyday - because I fall short everyday. No shame in repenting.

This is moving even when you are already a Christian. Ray you did a fantastic job explaining. It was constant: example, proof, example, proof, example, proof.
It's probably _only_ moving to those already convinced. He presented no evidence (he just said things are true for no reason), so no reasonable person should consider this "moving". I mean even believers should find it odd that no believer can present a good reason to think a god actually exists (which is why the majority of arguments don't even try to focus on evidence, just like Comfort here).

Or too scared that she will get criticism from other Christians?
I had a "feeling" it was going to rain today but , guess what? It didn't rain.🙄

I'm so thankful that God used Ray to show me that the intellectual argument is less important than sharing the gospel and to do that we need to use the Law.
And my immediate question would be "Okay, and how are we to know who the creator is?" Just because there's a "creator" doesn't necessarily mean it's the one you're worshipping.
Here are some:
Ray thank you for your faithfulness in spreading the message. May we be bold as Daniel was with our faith!
The book of Daniel is a forgery, how do we know this. It claims to have been written in the sixth century BC . Yet was written using language and syntax that did not even exist until the second century BC .
Of course charlatans like ray comfort will not tell you this because his profiteering would could to an end.

If they had logical grounds of religion or they wouldn't need to scare people.
"All things that are created are created by somebody"
"Who created the creator?"
"Hey, hey now, let's not ask questions."
If you say he existed forever then in that sense why can't the Universe exist forever?
Why does there have to be a sentient entity?
You believe that it is man that should prove something in order for it to be believed, but just like wind and gravity, the truth can also prove its own self. The creator can prove its own self, just as He did with me and millions of others. We do not have a “blind faith” in God, we truly trust Him because Je has make Himself known to us through His great miracles and signs in our lives.
Ask Him for a sign, a dream. You may not be able to “prove” Him yourself, but He sure can prove Himself to you.
God is an eternal being meaning he doesn't have a beginning or end,He created beginning and end which is "time" He created heaven which is space and earth which is matter and to create time, space, and matter he must be outside of those
This makes me think of how many people there are that would be open to the Gospel if they only had someone to share it with them.
So, 21st century christians believe the "Word of god", is a book edited in the seventeenth century,
from sixteenth century translations of 8000 contradictory copies of fourth century scrolls that claim
to be copies of lost letters, written in the 1st century.
That's not faith. That's insanity.
The Bible and Christian texts can’t be your evidence that the Bible and Christian texts are true. That doesn’t make any sense
@@habe1717 The were over 2000 old testament prophecies that were fulfilled precisely concerning Jesus and His coming to earth to die for mankind. Times, places manner of action and more in detail
A statistical group did an analysis on the probability of those prophecies precisely coming true by chance. Their target analysis was to start with just 300 prophecies.
Good stuff.

Ray Comfort I love the work that you do and I always learn from it. Thank you for all you do and for never giving up on people. God bless.
Do you ever eat junk food ?
I believe drunkedness is a Sin when you loose control and act badly. But if you personally think no intoxicants should be taken, that's a good position to have. I drink personally sometimes a beer or a glass of wine to relax or with meal, but never until drunk. I agree with your last statement, that our bodies belong to the Lord.
God bless you.
@@agemoth I see where you're going but junk food does not alter my mindset nor deteriorate my thought processing. Most, if not all junk food is actually better for you than it is bad. But the point I imagine you're making is a valid point. We shouldn't consume a excessive amount of anything that could eventually damage our bodies, which would fall under gluttony, which is a sin. With drinking, there is no good thing about it that you couldn't substitute with, say, a Pedialyte. Junk food has also never caused people's rage to increase to the point of abusing their family members.
Great question, though.

Here are some questions/thoughts I have. Feel free to shed some light of them:
God created everything, and willingly allows to exist all suffering, natural disasters, death, sin, the devil, disease, hunger, murder, abuse, discrimination etc, right?
I post in order to see any answers as well. These are good questions.
You will have many crowns in heaven brother keep it up!
