if someone is out in the countryside, 25 kilometers away from the nearest hospital down a dirt road, what's the issue with using the extractor while you're just doing NOTHING in the car? The point isn't about not going to the hospital because of the vacuum, but using it while you're on the way there.
I was thinking the same thing too. However, extracting some venom out still might buy you some more time to get help, which still makes it worth adding this to your kit
That is not recommended. You can do this for Mosquito bites because their poison is not strong but you do not want snake venom enter your cardiac system through your oral mucosa
@@turtlemaster23 i’m an EMT. i know that. sucking the venom out of a mosquito bite while not recommended, does provide relief from itching. and if it’s yourself why not
Mosquito's don't inject venom. While bees and wasps inject venom when they sting, mosquitoes inject a proboscis, which looks like a tiny straw, to suck up tiny amounts of your blood and release anti-clotting agents. The immune system reacts by releasing histamine, which creates a small, itchy bump. As an EMT you should know this. A cold pack will relieve the itching as well.
@FrankTheTank No real professional has ever claimed these work. Go take an outdoors first aid course literally anywhere and they will never recommend these to anybody for snake or bug bites.
You own snakes? Also isnt process of removing venom from snakes teeths different from removing venom from a snake bite(you cant use the pump on a snakes teeth since theres no space for the suction besides their teeth)

@Mazuala parte this is only for inscets and snake bites various animals like dogs have venoms which spread quickly however if you are going to take treatment soon it will be only to slow down the venomw
@earnsufficient a bit late, but various videos have proven that these kits don't work in extracting snake venom. The venom will spread out into your tissues and be absorbed almost immediately after injection. Trying to suck it out from the injection site doesn't work. Cutting an opening near the injection site doesn't work. Combining both cutting and suctioning still doesn't work. In the medical field the only things they do for a snake bite is giving antivenom and applying a bandage to the wound. The most these devices will do is give you a nasty hickey.
The background music makes me want to go paddle the Woodall Shoals portion of the Chattooga River.
Lol
Ah yes the Chattooga, rightful mestizo land
You know what’s buuuuuuuuuuullshit?!?!
At the pump? Yeah lol
Be sure to bring your Sawyer suction pump

Does it work on vaccines?
Just asking for a friend.
Nope, if you're vaxed yer done.
😂🤣😂
your friend is an idiot.
15 minutes for snake bite sounds like a horribly long time to wait after the bite!!!
In most pit vipers you have hours if not days. Rattlesnake is 2-3 days. Tho obviously the sooner you get treatment the better
But still you have to rush to hospital, if bitten by a cobra or mamba or viper, this is just for temporary relief.

Dang, I was hoping to go straight to bed after the extractor.
We have a yellowbelly ball (pretent to be pregnant) with tapping is tail to all the lakes Sufi style 😂
That the bukaki lake by the way 😭
Think shark tank just took your idea 💡
Sucking the venom out does help even with just mosquito bites. The itch goes away instantly.

Because only licensed, trained, officials can do anything peasant.
Obviously removing poison is pointless. The guy in a lab coat told me so.

investments and injection molding.
This is such a scam! Treatment is wrap the bite and remain calm .

Never mind almost doctors advise these pumps have zero benefit & have additional tissue damage.
I had snake bit me and 3 days later the snake died. 😟
Is that you chuck n.
Is it reusable?
it's a syringe with a cup attached push the plunger back down and wash it and you can go again at snake oil medicine.
U will not there for re-use after 1st bite
im gonna try to suck out some venom from my "snake" itself
