Wow! - This looks awesome - I am glad you have built more CADA car sets than I have - Really looking forward in trying another car set from them soon. Awesome job on the build and review.
CaDA doesn't have every typical System brick in their own production portfolio. One reason is because they are not very big, but probably more like a medium size company, another reason is that they focus on Technic a lot. They have been getting some parts from other suppliers before, usually Qunlong/Zhe Gao/Lele, one of the giants, which used to be the copybrand rival of Lepin back in the day and thus has pretty much every form Lego has made somewhat recently, but which is now successfully diversifying into lots of more or less legal brands.
@@OrtwinR very interesting!! I did not know that. I have heard their technic bricks are generally better than their system components, but I haven't had issues with either. Thank you very much for the information, though!!
@@onecleverpig CaDA used to have some problems with System parts like 1x1 plates that used to fall off. And some of the parts they used to get from Qunlong had quality problems. Because they don't make that many System sets and those builds generally use a more extensive part spectrum, quality improvement has maybe been a bit slower than for Techic parts but I haven't had any issues in their System sets lately, either. Another reason their System parts get a bad reputation sometimes is that they tend to fall off easily when they are used in Technic builds with simple unstable building techniques as has been done in some of the more crazy MOC designer sets like the Viva Hypercar. The same would happen when using Lego parts but Lego avoids using unstable techniques like that.
@OrtwinR Ahh great to know! I did hear that about the viva hypercar, if I remember correctly. I do think it's getting better, though, as I built the RUF yellowbird (the bigger, $100, one) and it blended technic and system extremely well and it's very stable
@@onecleverpig It depends a lot of the designer and their style. I do appreciate that CaDA also dares to publish more crazy sets in their Master series. The Viva Hypercar had some tricky parts but it also was a LOT of fun to put those crazy angles together.
Great review. Love those doors and wheels. I've just finished building CaDA's McLaren P1 (Assassin XR) and recommend that too. With the parts count and functions of a 1:8 flagship set at the price point and scale of a Lego 1:10 model, my only regret is waiting so long to pick it up.
1:28 never seen that piece to the left. This build is SWEET!! Loving the black!! Love that it actually comes with a mini turbo lol that diffuser is SICK!! Pretty cool how they use those black pieces to cover those blue pins!! NICE!! $100 is a sweet deal. Nicely done!!! 👏🏼 😊
Have this model agree with everything you said fantastic build also got the yellow bird but not built yet .At the moment building the mega hot wheels aston martin vulcan great build as well.If you get time look up the rastar audi r8 lms looks fantastic built the rastar 1.24 red bull racing f1 was well impressed.
Awesome!! Glad you enjoyed - you will LOVE the RUF YellowBird. It's so good. I have seen the Rastar R8 and it looks amazing! So does their MC20. My issue lately is: no more space for sets 😂
Interesting color and car choice, but it's based on the iconic 911 and a really cool build! Those seats surely look small and the door operation is truly perfect!
@sebastianb7797 Shipping time has been surprisingly very good, in my experience! I have never had to wait more than two weeks for anything coming directly from China. Usually within 1 week, but wanted to be conservative
@Johnsmitty1971 yep 100% I would. I have and do purchase sets from CaDA. They have a very similar product (2017 RUF Yellowbird) which I bought myself and it remains one of the best purchases of the year for me
@@onecleverpig I do have that one in conjunction with the Red Sports Car (unlicensed Porsche 911) in 1:12.5 scale. So far every CaDA model I get is better than the previous one.

That little bit about the technic pins around 3:37 is such a great little detail!
