you moving things around and experimenting around is what makes this video great. it would have been so boring if everything immediately had a spot.
There are many things I like about this video; your voice, the ambient sounds of the makeup and things being moved around and placed, the colors of the counter and the wall, your pretty hands, that gorgeous nail polish you have on and the makeup box itself with its clear facets - I love clear facets. What a creative and relaxing idea for a video. Opening some of the makeup and showing us was icing on the cake. For some reason, for women, having someplace to organize our makeup is exciting! That sequined makeup bag is so pretty, I love sequins, especially in those colors! It reminds me of the jeweled scales on a mermaid’s tail. You have some of the most beautiful pallets of eyeshadows, I like it when you show them.
I’ve had OCD from being very little, and it’s something I struggled with for years until I began to understand it and learned to live with it. But it took me a long time to stop worrying about other people’s opinions; even so, it still interferes with my everyday life. I also have major anxiety. To the point where it can be a battle to leave my house, talk to people, make a phone call. It can even be a struggle to breathe because of the pressure weighing down on my chest. So it really bothers me when I see people misusing those terms. People so casually throw around the words ‘anxiety’, ‘OCD’ and ‘depression’ and it’s pretty disrespectful to the people who do suffer from those things, because they are not a joke.

I have OCD too, I suffer from very similar problems you do and this doesn’t offend me on that deep of a level. It’s annoying, yes, but I wouldn’t call it disrespectful. Most people use those terms out of genuine ignorance with the best of intentions. Life is better when you stop taking yourself so seriously and stop expecting everyone else too. It took me a VERY long time to realize that but now life is better that I understand this. I hope someday you do too. You probably caused this person to hurt a lot over an accident. And even if you hurt too, doesn’t mean you need to go out of your way to hurt someone else in return - now THAT is disrespectful! This lady is a wonderful person, I highly doubt she would use those terms to disrespect you or me or anyone else who shares our condition and our struggles.

Friendly reminder to everyone in the comments *NOT* to use OCD as an adjective, because it’s not one. Don’t say something’s “making you OCD”, because it’s not. Something doesn’t just “make you OCD”, OCD isn’t a feeling. 🙄 Being mildly annoyed by something is NOT the same as having a serious and often debilitating psychiatric disorder. An *actual, difficult mental illness* isn’t a synonym you can use for “I’m mildly annoyed because this thing isn’t exactly how I would like it to be”. Thank you ^^
Brushes are so awkward to put in makeup organizers! If I were you I would but 2 Masson Jars to put them in, one for your powder brushes and other for you eyeshadow brushes. Nonetheless thanks for another video ❤️❤️
i put all of mine in a wine glass its alot easier and it looks pretty :)
i had mine in a candle holder for a while but the wineglass seems like a good idea!

I repurpose Talenti jars. Two for face brushes, one for eye brushes, one for BeautyBlender/sponges and one for dirty brushes/sponges that need to be washed each Sunday.
That’s what I did! I used a short one for small brushes and a tall one for big brushes so they don’t fall out the jar

I realize this vid is from a while back but some of y'all in the comments are organization elitists.. I use a rack that goes on a wall that I found at the Salvation Army. I tipped them so they lay flat and they make perfect slots for my palettes and they look like little caterpillars
5 years later and I still come back to listen to this to fall asleep to. one of my favorites of yours : )

yeahhh this is about how my makeup organisation went (I have the same containers). Nothing fit anywhere and it ended up looking just as bad as it did before I tried organizing haha. Also love that you're using BH, I don't know a single person other than myself who has anything from them. They are definitely my favorite company! The Galaxy pallet was the first pallet I ever got and still my favorite to this day (even if mine is many years old and too crusty to use anymore).
Am I the only one who didn't have a problem on how she packed stuff. I ways feel like there's more people with OCD than not. All my friends are OCD and almost every person I meet is. I just honestly think they're all fake lol..

Well first of all you can’t “be ocd” you can only “have ocd”. As for having ocd, it’s pretty simple: if you haven’t officially been diagnosed, you don’t have ocd. Ocd is a serious psychological disorder. Not something to joke around about.

You know what, just in case you got any more brushes, I suggest that you should use an empty soup can to fill in your brushes and decorate it however you want. I did the same for my couple set of brushes. One of them I have has a bunch of small photos of Prince and the second one is the same except it has photos of Michael Jackson all in order, same with the Prince one. The Prince one has my set of clear makeup brushes and the MJ one has a set of real pretty, pink Olivia Grace brushes on the right side.
On the back of the cans, I use a small, fit Vans shoebox that I can fill my other makeup inside. It has 2 or 3 powder foundations, nail polishes I never use, lipsticks, eye/lip pens, etc. That's all of the DIY makeup storages I got. ❤😊

Very good right up to when you started tapping every thing with you nails an making those clicking noises. Make up makes the best sound when being organized. Let me know when you do something without tapping.

Honestly 🙄,, like I actually have OCD (as well as super annoying tics) to the point where it’s sometimes debilitating, and am just sitting here enjoying this video for like, the 3rd time. Everyone in the comments screaming about how “tHiS mAdE mE oCD!1!1!” and “oMG tHiS tRiGgErED mE, mY oCD iS cOmiNg oUT!!1!1” or “oMg iM sO oCD aBoUt tHaT” are just people who don’t actually know anything about OCD and just use it as a qUiRkY synonym for “I’m mildly annoyed”. EDIT:
Tho, with those brushes. My advice is grab a clear cup or any cup you prefer (make sure that the mouth is big enough) put some pebbles on it so that the brushes will stand still. Those liners, mascara or anything that is thin and long sizes should be on that drawers. Palettes can be placed outside or on top of that drawers. Those little square box are only for lipsticks just for lipsticks, or anything that the lentgh is short.

That’s because that organizer is not made for brushes. It’s for lipsticks. I bought an amazing organizer about 10 yrs ago from QVC. Someone invented it, it has areas for everything and it spins. I fell in love with it and bought 2, but found two was too much and no place to put it sooo I’ll be selling one. Or maybe giving it away on my channel. I don’t really need the money.
