Lecture by an Exemplary Community Educator - Ms. Carolyn Bumanglag

Title of the presentation: Literasi/Edukasyon at Pagpapakatao.
Ms. Bumanglag was invited as a resource person in the graduate class of Prof. Ched Arzadon at the UP College of Education. The course is EDNFE 221 - Theory and Practice in Nonformal Education. The speaker has a 30-year experience in community education in various urban poor communities in Metro Manila. Ms. Bumanglag has a masteral degree in Literacy Education from the UP College of Education. Her thesis "Literacy practices and constructions among migrant Muslim Filipino families" was given The Most Outstanding Thesis Award in 2011.
