My dude you reviewed these wheels 3 months ago... It's a rebranded Farsports Evo wheelset. Its funny you compared them to Enves but not the Farsports Evo that you reviewed just 3 months ago 🤦♂️ At this rate your credibility will be out the window. Do better.
Of course you didn't actually WATCH the video because if you did, you'd see that I actually did in fact compare these wheels to the FarSports EVO at the 13:20 mark. But crashing out over the internet seems to be your thing. Go ahead and unsubscribe now to save yourself the embarrassment.
Always good to watch the entire video before trying to needle pick someone’s work?! 😂 It’s a shame people are so intent on pushing their own agenda that they can’t see what really matters, which is a good video!
I personally love my 45/50. I honestly don't mind the 28mm internal rim width up front. I've been running Pirelli P-Zero Race 28s tubeless on my Trek Madone and have had no issues. I do agree that the wide width will definitely turn some people off. Most will definitely prefer these 50/58s. Great Review!
@ I stuck with 28s since I wasn’t sure how wide the tires would balloon out. If I were to do it again, I’d probably do 30s but I spent $200 on these tires and I’m not changing these unless it’s a flat 😂
@ I normally prefer rims no deeper than 50mm. I live right on the east coast and winds tend to push me around already as is since I’m a small dude on an aero bike. Deep rims wouldn’t help lol. I also think 40mm(ish) rims look cooler on most bikes.
Man those Yoeleo Pro wheels are TOUGH to be beat. They will most likely win my award for best value when I eventually do my full wheel comparison video.
Took advantage of their year end sale myself and got them even cheaper. Your code didn’t work for me but was able to use another code instead. Btw, I did a custom order on the 50/60 set with no decals and they’re set to ship already.
The spec on this wheels are the same like my new wheels customorder from wheelsfar, but for sub 1000usd and no stickers with i prefer. The wheels from the East are principal the same, i have not ridden them because of the swedish winter but i am looking forward to it!
Nice looking wheels butt i stay on my Elite drive wheels those also good looking😁 btw i used your discountcode for a set off nova2ride sram force OSPW for my Scott addict rc. Now just waiting for good weather ( snowing in Belgium) then i can switch my Eddy Merckx Exm ( wintertime bike) to my summertime racer😉 Greetings from Belgium
Jesse coyle had a set of caden wheels from Australia….you should reach out to Ben at caden and try to get a set. The deCADENce line of wheels are there premium line up. They also just moved to ratchet style hubs and carbon spokes. The other nice touch is the balanced rims for death wobble. Anywho thanks for yet another wheel review….we really are I. A magical time of wheel choice. Maybe the biggest reason for me (living in Detroit) to finally move to disc brakes.
Patrick, thanks for the review, two questions: 1. Why are you not riding the sl8? 2. Wouldn’t you have a better benchmark for wheel reviews if you used the same bike for each wheel set? Tks
Believe it or not, I've actually tested more wheels on my Tavelo Arow than my SL8. That includes both No.6 wheels, ENVE 4.5 SES, FarSports, and various Magene Exar wheels.
Well lubricated 😂 Do you know of any resources that have modeled or tested how much aero benefit comes with a deeper rear wheel? I can't decide between a staggered depth wheelset or a symmetric one for a little lighter weight and crosswind stability. I'm a lightweight rider. Cheers!
I don't have any real data unfortunately. However, my take is this: Deeper depth wheels become more effective when the speeds get faster and/or if you do a lot of long distance solo efforts. The majority of my rides are solo efforts. Any time spent drafting on in group ride/peloton or climbing, deeper wheels won't really matter.
For the internal measurement does the measurement include the “hook” and the hopeless wheels come out wider because they lack that hook? Is that truly a fair measurement comparison?
@@galenkehler The Yoeleo Pro wheels are undeniably TOUGH to be beat. I don't know how they can offer such specs at that price point. They will most likely win my award for best value when I eventually do my full wheel comparison video.
At this pricepoint, I think its silly money for what is a pretty "basic" Chinese wheelset. They look nice, but seems to build with parts that will be harder to replace in the long run in terms of availability. What customer service can you expect when you run into trouble one year after purchasing? Those are "risks" you can consider when the wheels are half of this price. Also, other companies with similar wheels (elite, winspace) are building somewhat of a reputable service reputation with lower prices. But for the same price, I bought handmade wheels locally with industry nine hubs, duke racing rims and DT spokes. All parts with good reputation and service (in EU at least) and I have local service and warranty. And they even look better ;)
@PatrickLino I read your replies to your haters. Always remember what J said "A wise man told me don't argue with fools 'Cause people from a distance can't tell who is who". Keep doing dope $#!+.
getting these wheels with a 28mm internal and using 28-32mm tires is USELESS. if the goal is to make the tyre inflate well over the regular width, the tire will be used the way it WASNT intended by the manufacturer. these rims are the farsport wheelset which are designed as gravel wheels. yes they work on road. but id suggest using 34mm or wider. so they actually are useful. using a regular wheelset and getting wider tires is a better option than running skinny 28-32mm tires on these rims. even if it aligns better in terms of aero.
Considering just how many customers invested in the 45/50 version of these No.6 wheels, fully aware of the production origins, and yet still netting a positive experience, proves there will always be a place for both ready-made wheels and custom OEM alike. FarSports also sells $1700 ready-made wheels by the way ❤
@PatrickLino true, but the smart people know where to get basically the same 1700 wheelset for less. I got mine for 792. I believe you have the same set. I've seen you post on the weight wennie forum about said wheels
Haha you say that like it's a bad thing, or some kind of "gotcha". What exactly is wrong with having one of the best carbon wheel manufacturers make your product?
@@galenkehler The average consumer doesn't have hours a day looking for the subjectively best deals on wheels and frames on the internet. At a time when western customers are still apprehensive about Far East wheel brands, trying to convince them to order via an OEM supplier is a very tall order.
Sorry man, but if you're going to keep promoting this brand on US soil, we gotta keep calling it out.
