    I really don’t agree with that. The journey of an artist has to be one that engages the artist, so that they don’t become stale and the work reflects that attitude. Understandable.
    However, the artist, especially if he or she is seeking to establish themselves, has to be identifiable. Certainly so to collectors. The only exception I can see is if their style is so strong and identifiable they are recognized across various media. Tread carefully. They run the risk of having a hodgepodge collection of works that can’t achieve provenance. Just MHO.

      Where is beauty. No more biased political, no more feminist art, no CONtempary, no more stealing art

      @@Palestinian_holocaust I agree with anyone who says “where is beauty” in art. The contemporary art world needs an adjustment away from the overly political, overly “issue-based”, and the hyper conceptual. Not totally in my opinion just a strong adjustment. And the world of music can be an inspiration, it is more democratic in terms of appealing to a wider audience generally.
