He doesn’t have enough guts to issue a warrant for Netanyahu alone; he has to also issue warrants for Hamas leaders even though the differences in their crimes are so stark.
Whoever has the power to bring BB, Putin, Bolsanaro, Modi, Trump, and Bush Jr. to Justice would deserve massive praise.
Biden, Obama...
Winnie a Pooh
Putin is already accused by ICC. Therefore he cannot go to 124 countries of the world who are signatories of ICC. Same will be with Netanyahu and Hamas -Leaders
America not member of ICC
A rogue court will eventually seek to jail your heroes too, not just the people you don't like.
Why don’t you ask another question : Sinwar behind the bars?
Amram Leifer:
"You can take the Prosecutor
out of Pakistan.
You cannot take Pakistan

Hostages have not been released. So what does the ICC expect nations to do when attacked or when citizens are under threat or taken Hostages. What is fair conduct of war and what is not. Who decides? Should armies have refrees with them. Who could qualify as referees. ICC should first issue habeas corpus for hostages release.
Answers to your questions:
- the ICC expects that they follow the law
- conduct should be in compliance with international humanitarian law
- yes armies should have referees/legal council and all (combat) personel should be carefully instructed before they are deployed
Hear, hear objectivity!
what more evidence is needed?
Mr judge thank you.😊😊😊
The US must recognize the ICC! 🇺🇸
Hard pass.
They had a chance and rejected it very firmly.
If they do they'll have the most warrants
DW, what do you feel about working for a state which explain that the ICC is wrong with Netanyahou and rigjt with putin ?
Just like the Arrest Warrant for Putin, nothing will happen.
Putin doesnt travel to the West...
What already happens is that Putin cannot go to 124 countries in the world who are signatories of ICC. Same will be with Netanyahu and Hamas-leaders. If they would go to one of these countries they would be arrested. That is not "nothing".
@@samsmith2635 doesn't matter
@@samsmith2635 Even an ICC member state would not arrest Putin, or GW Bush, either.
@@nuqwestr Not true. Putin did not visit South Africa because it is a member of the ICC.
Germany is COMPLICIT
Germany is sub-contracting their 3rd Genocide to Israel. I would say they will get caught yet again.

Yet not enough evidence against Serbia for Bosnian genocide
Actions have consequences. No one should be above the law.
Why there is no the same case against Putin, Shoigu and Patrushev if „people were tried for less“ ?????
The constant questioning of the timing is pure deflection of the issue
Justice aboved and below
International Community: "You can't possibly erode all your credibility in one move"
ICC: "Hold my beer"
126 member states + most of the Middle East/North Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc (who mostly haven't ratified the Rome Statute but wouldn't take too kindly to Bibi visiting)
ICC , why no arrest on Putin yet?
Putin is a God’s man. ✝️
Because he hasn’t travelled to any ICC jurisdiction
Due Dissidence: ICC seeks arrest warrant for Netanyahu
ICC favours the West. Let's hope the ICC is not just playing on the minds of the world to save face for a biased approach regarding international law.
The question is will ICC really do the job of delivering justice to the victims, the Palestine people or it's just for TV shows and wound licking strategy? ICC had no other choices but to issue arrest warrants... The alleged war crimes activities of Netanyahu , defense Minister and the Israel IDF are too obvious with evidence on every Media platform and even homes. Let's hope justice will be done ...the world awaits for justice to prevail though the heavens may fall, let justice prevail..
The world now awaits to see what ICC will do for justice to prevail for the people of Palestine, though the heavens may fall, let justice prevail.. the whole notion of the rules based world is on trial and so far the USA and Israel have already shown that there's nothing like international law... international law is applied selectively to favour the USA and their allies..
The interviewer’s question was about lawfare, where nations pursue legal cases to pass moral judgment, which gives social activists a pretext to treat the court's accusation as a matter of fact. By presenting both sides at the same time, the ICC has engaged in what it knows to be common lawfare tactic, to demonize Israel based on the views of of Karim Khan.
Placing the face of a democratically elected leader next to a terrorist cannot be accidental. The full list of legal advisors driving this should be transparently available, so that we know who's actually pushing this.
well I find it surprising that the interviewer has the guts to ask about syria and iran without mentioning about Libya where the US went in and massacred lots of Libyans without a UN mandate and doing the same in Iraq or Afghanistan. How hypocritical on her part to ask questions about Syria when we have evidence and witnesses from the West about what the US did in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan. On that note, senator Graham mentioned that he wanted to sanction ICC to make sure US soldiers who commit war crimes are not dragged in front of ICC !!!!
Prison you must all go
Yes
Unlike the farce with the accusations in ICJ this is actually legit and reasonable
Netanyahu will only be stopped militarily but this effort is welcome.
What about Israel
Wow I absolutely love the solid and clear logics of the ex judge from Canterbury! Thank you. He asked perfect questions about why is it not ok to apply for warrant against those heads of two sides of the war.
DW sucks. Announcing them at the same time is not equating them. It’s simply not playing favorites. The way you report this it’s obvious you have bias. Rubbish journalism
Hey, Karim Khan, leaders of the "free world" are mad at you because you are going to prosecute HAMAS and Israel together, can you drop your charges against HAMAS for the time being?
it has to implemented as quickly as possible by those who put their signature for
There more than enough evident, one is more than enough.
This is the only way to stop the violence have both parties are sated for crimes against humanity no one is above the law and no matter your religion or place of birth. Accountability is the key to end this fued
If Netanyahu goes to Hague for what he did with weapons made in the west then what happens to the west?
use your brain for once
@@liquid7105 No matter how I use the brain, it is hard to get to the truth because the way I am seeing it there are always two so called the truth and justice. One is the real truth and the other one is alternative truth. So if I see all the destruction in Gaza, which is the real truth. I mean we can see that everything is like in Hiroshima. Videos don't lie. Then you have people who present you a truth which is the alternative truth which means all done in the defence of Israel. Defence from who? Babies, those who are weeks old? Nah!
If Bibi were arrested, what do you think Israel's response would be?.
When did Palestine become a state??
When it was recognised as one by individual countries more of which will be Recognising it by the end of the month.
Media😅
Israel can deal with the ICJ and ICC. I think if they go through with it, that will be the end of the ICJ and ICC.
And with the end of the ICJ and the ICC, it will also be the end of human rights and the high grounds of morality of democracies in the west.
what is the law in germany for accomplices in a crime?
Very good explanation! 🙏
Time for that asesin to go to jail
3 Body Problem sucked.
Crooked voice 😖 Thanks for the subs. Not buying that equivalence between Israel and Hamas was implied just because they announced those warrant requests together. The fact that both sides are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity is not a blanket statement about one being just as bad as the other, and one side being responsible for the current war is also irrelevant in this matter, if you're guilty of such crimes you're guilty no matter what the circumstances.
America and NATO countries also Germany sending weapons to Israeli so what about di senders 👀👀👀👀👀🤫🤫🤫🇹🇷🇧🇷🇨🇳🇮🇳🌍🤫🤫🤫
There was ICJ decision
How about the Hamas leaders?
The crime minister will evade, evade, evade and evade, and live in sunny California, the good life, til the end of his days, scott free sippin margaritas.
This arrest warrant will end up being a joke, esp when the ones who protect him (US/UK) will do whatever it takes, to not let him be captured and embarrassed.
Why International criminal court is sleeping until now
There is absolutely no excuse for what IDF is doing in Gaza. Netanyahu in jail will be the most easy punishment.
