I upgraded the steering, hubs, shock towers, and arms with aluminum parts on my Gravel Hound and it performs remarkable! Hadn't had one failure or bad experience yet!

I love DF-02 madness. I collect DF-02 parts myself. A few items are hard to get. For the Plasma Edge and Gravel Hound, the body fits the TT-02B Plasma Edge, it's the same. Got my DF-02 Plasma Edge Broke in 2016 in the skate park with my nephew. His TT-02B Dual Ridge has endured everything. He uses it almost every day with jumps, nothing is broken, okay, it doesn't look good anymore. Already has the 4th body. I also have the silver Motor mount from Carson. There were many parts in the silver that Carson sold as tuning for the DF-02.
Uhh, great to meet a fellow DF-02 Madman ☺️ Yeah, broke a couple of DF-02 chassis running/jumping on asphalt too. But yeah, the TT-02B is much more durable. The wing on my Dual Ridge looks a bit fragile though.

Some of those CVD's were proper worn, I had not noticed that on any yet, maybe mine are still all too new, or maybe I just haven't inspected properly yet... Hi Mads! Well, I think these universal axles are just a very poor Tamiya-copy. Haven’t seen anything so worn on any others that I have. But the GPM or GPM-copies look good. Use them on one of my DT-03’s too. Yes! Already build one more … I’m drowning in DF-02’s and Hoppers … 😅😅 Real collector-problems ☺️
Yeah, exactly. Well, the front alloy shock tower helps since the front plastic shock tower usually breaks before the chassis. But that’s about it. All other alloy parts will essentially increase the chance that the spots around the suspension mounts on the chassis will break 😅

The ball bearings you say that are Rusty why don't you just soak them in three in one oil and bring them back to life.
They are actually good to go. Only surface rust on the outside. A little bearing oil could be good.
Sell off what you're not using.
