Mercury Ground Support played a pivotal role in the seamless unloading of the disassembled Skydweller Aero-a revolutionary solar-powered perpetual motion uncrewed aircraft as the aircraft arrived from Spain at Stennis International Airport in Kiln, Mississippi, with the assistance of Cargolux Airlines 747.
In this clip, a nice suprise for the team as we were able to witness a Mississippi Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III taxiing the runway after landing at Stennis.
The Commander 30 cargo loader handles all aircraft loading needs. It has a platform lift capacity of 15,000 kg (33,000 lbs.). Some features include a HeliRoll convey system, failsafe control system, a swing out power module and an Onboard Diagnostic System (ODS) which provides numerous benefits including lower maintenance costs per hour of operation.
The disassembled Skydweller Aero, celebrated for its groundbreaking solar-powered perpetual motion technology, landed at Stennis International Airport on Saturday, January 12, 2023, for further assembly and testing.
