He is making a very important point: Why is it that Dhritarashtra got liberation, but not bhakti. Although Dhritarashtra gave up everything and left home to achieve spiritual benefit; although he got association with mahātma vaiṣṇava Vidura, still Dhritarashtra did not get bhakti because of he had committed vaiṣṇava-aparādha to the Pandavas. This is a wonderful lesson that all aspiring transcendentalists should take to heart: avoid offending devotees.

So how did Jagai/Madai get bhakti?
And if Vidura gave Dhrtarastra association why didn't he also get bhakti, as eventually even the sinful Ajamil got?

Somehow or other, Ajāmila consciously or unconsciously chanted the name of Nārāyaṇa at the time of death (ante nārāyaṇa-smṛtiḥ), and therefore he became all-perfect simply by concentrating his mind on the name of Nārāyaṇa.
According to the bhaktisiddhānta, it is to be analyzed that because Ajāmila constantly chanted his son's name, Nārāyaṇa, he was elevated to the platform of bhakti, although he did not know it."
So the sinful activity of Ajamilis not comparable to the constant offense offered the Pandavas by Dhrtarastra?
