Why DX11, is it more stable? I was using DX12 with all high and epic settings without ray tracing and was getting around average 120fps with some dips to 90 here and there and some highs of 140. Turned on the new nanite virtualized geometry setting and that definitely causes a performance hit, i'm at a pretty stable 60fps with that after dropping a few settings down to medium, but do get a few nasty drops in racing, just turned nvidia DLSS down to performance so hopefully that'll clear that up, it's wild how similar dlss on performance looks to quality, that tech is crazy, def worth using to get the pretty trees nanite geometry provides.

Unfortunately, it’s a prevalent issue with Fortnite that I’ve been battling with for the last two years. It seems Epic haven’t properly optimized Nvidia GPU’s with Fortnite to alleviate these known issues. I have reached out to Epic numerous times about this problem and they insist there is nothing they can do to help. What me and many other members of the community have concluded is Epic is more focused keeping the game running better for the console players, as they’ve become the bigger audience in Fortnite and their overall experience is far more important than the PC user base. If you’re wondering what my specs are they are a RTX 3060, Intel i9 10900 with 32Gb of ram and my game still runs like garbage even on performance mode.
Yeah update your drivers and check for thermal issuse, if your GPU or cpu getting better temps in games than in like Google Chrome you're probably thermal throttling

Maybe you have to set the settings on DX 11 on all low too and you should deinstall things from fortnite you dont need like streaming the skins or save the world

I have the 3060 and it only uses about 20% on fortnite, I get around 100-130fps how do I get it to use more of its power and get more fps? there's no bottleneck since my cpu only uses 30%
well try to buy 3 fans, there's nothing much difference in performance (maybe) in between different brands' gpu, but buyig 3 fans keeps the gpu cooler than 2 fans (obviously).

Fortnite cpu based so it’s probably your cpu but I’ve also seen videos that Fortnite runs worse on amd cards

Fortnite is a CPU game if you have a good gpu and a bad CPU you will get bad fps but with a good CPU or even a bad gpu you will get good fps
