This coiny and pin moment at 8:00 gets more meaningful as more time passes and we see more of BFDIA. I remember watching this episode when it came out and thought it wasent anything special, but wow it really is.
The scene where Coiny reassures Pin is so heartwarming and possible one of the greatest scenes in the show. This series has excellent writing and extremely talented people working on it. The expressions are fantastic, especially since the characters aren’t humanoids and animated. During Season One there wasn’t a lot of this, but if you watched it multiple times you could feel the build-up to all the drama in the next season. Season Two had a bir, but it was mainly in Season 3 that everything started to happen. Since IDFB was as shorter season, it didn’t really count but it still had excellent writing and I will not shut up about how good this show is until more people know about and respect it.
I love the entire trilogy. BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, and BFB have always stopped the jokes and chaos to deal with issues, serious one. Co-dependency can lead to not being able to do things on your own, and anxiety about that is worse. Every few episodes or so does this, becoming serious for a bit. You are amazing, and you have made people who grow up with this understand this easier.
