I got turned on to Anders about a year ago with "Mind of a Junkie" and would listen to that song over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. My life has been enriched by his music. Thank you Mr. Osborne.
Saw Anders, his band and the band Tea Leaf at The Park West in Chicgo. It was the second time this year I've seen him this year and the fourth time all told. Each time was in Chicago. First of all his music, taent and drive is crazy great!! And like a few before him, I think he is the "hardest" working guy in show biz today. He never stops touring, doing videos and recording nowadays. I'd really like to see him in "The Big Easy" sometime. What shows those must be!
I just saw him at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival this past weekend. His own set was good, but he was part of the Voice of the Wetlands Allstars - and seeing him do guitar duels with Tab Benoit and shred along with the best fiddle players in Louisiana - now that was special! I had my mouth hanging open amazed for 1/2 an hour straight
That was so fkn badass. Anders slayed that shit. The way he finished was even sweeter. He knew he smoked that and he just laughed it off at the end. And then you listen to his ballad-esque acoustic songs and realize how eclectically masterful he is. I dig his energy.
