Good morning Roz and happy Sunday to you . I love today's tutorial . This is a great idea for some people who may have difficulty holding a hot mug . I love it . God bless and have a great week ahead.
Hello there. I crocheted my first mug cosy aka mug rug😁, about 14 years ago. I prefer pure wool as it's a great insulator. I start with a circle to cover the base, then continue up the mug to the handle where I add stitches on one end to lap under the other end, I add a loop and button after, continuing up mug like yours. With the base covered you need a saucer because the hot drink sweats. Or leave that part off. I made my first one to keep the hot drink hot longer. And it does, at least half an hour. Thank you for your way too. 💖
