Can you picture the first home game, sold out, with the entire crowd chanting that throughout the game. Bet that would generate some headlines!
Detroit made the playoffs, won the first playoff game of their series and sold at the trade deadline and went with their system while BC claimed the Pirates could do the same and yet did nothing remotely like that. Ironically if the second half Tigers had the Pirates pitching they would probably have a legitimate chance to win the WS, lol.
I think nutting must be more comfortable with the status quo. No extra pressure, a good old boys club all patting each other on the back, just run the business from a distance and if it's profitable it's a success.
DK, my protest is to not support this franchise financially. Don't buy their stuff, don't go to their games. Catch them on at the bar. Ultimately, that's the only protest that matters for me.
