Tae kwon do certainly has evolved into a different sport than it once was, its difficult for us older school fighter to relate to the new school player.no combinations no power , they seem to just use the front foot very boarding to watch unless your into the sport.
JR Almenar many of us that have been training and invested time and energy into this art art worrying about its direction. The sport has to reassess its scoring system to encourage combinations.
Tengu Kage I agree the sport has lost its vigour, Maybe they should make the sensors endure more so they can atleast have some power in their strikes. It'll be more fun to watch that way and it might bring back K.O's.

Hoy en día lo primordial es tener una buena estrategia de combate, los competidores que son agresivos no piensan y por ende pierden ante uno que estudia, analiza y ataca en el momento oportuno... Como lo hicieron en este combate

Pulled the shoulder down...off side of the referee...head kick over the shoulder...should have been holding...coach should have protested...tough to see...
I think the new rules should also solve the cut kick problem. Fighters seem to only rely on it. I think a good way to solve this is to only allow cut kicks to be used as a defensive meneuver. Don't ban them completely. Just forbid them to be used offensively should do the job. WT if you're reading. I think this will greatly improve the intensity of the matches.
Sorry i don't defaming. You must compare this video between kyorugi in 2000s. I am ex 2000s athlet kyorugi taekwondo from Indonesia. The rule was differ. Are you know about this rule. I hope u know. Thankss
