He was being paid, just not what he wanted to be paid. His hold out was for pretty legitimate reasons though in my opinion. He saw what had happened to other team mates that got injured in Seattle and didn't what to be a victim of the same circumstance due to injury. He was looking for a contract that offered guaranteed money that would take care of his family if he got a career ending injury while giving the team everything he had on the field.
Oooohhhhh okay thank you for clearing that up. I just thought they wasn't paying him period. Still a valid reason in my opinion to hold out on practice. I can't say I blame him in all honesty.

The fuck are talking about
Jason Campbell Why do everyone have to act white etc. that’s wrong with merica. Be black and proud fam
@@AYO_THUG "acting white" isn't the opposite of hood.. there are far more poor white people who speak ebonics than rich white people who speak the kings english anyway.. but she occasionally gets excited and starts to speak in a less than professional manner like quite a few members of the media do regardless of race when they feel comfortable with the interviewee.
Jason Campbell what is wrong with you
Why’d he do my man Pete like that 😂
Seattle will always love u
He’s a kinesthetic learner. What I appreciate about Earl is that he knows himself and takes ownership of his actions.
Was hoping the Steelers wouldve traded for him but then the injury and now hes in Baltimore smh wish this man the best tho
Yes sir. Should have been a Steeler
just_2swift agreed
How is this dude not on a roster yet? Plenty of teams need a good safety like him
Well speaking out of experience I got the honor I guess to talk to earl thomas also at a camp I was the player of the camp and the prize was sit down with earl thomas and I’ve got to talk to other nfl players and he was the worst out of all of them I had a ton of respect till the moment will he said let’s get this over with when I sat down Ik he didn’t want to be there
Lost all respect for the man after that middle finger. Hope to never see his name in the ring of honor.
Keep that same energy for everyone else cause Sherman blasted him as well a lot of em did that Super Bowl loss ruined everything all cause of the decision and if you lose respect off 1 middle finger that’s soft af
@@Keatonolu: LOL, you're funny. Yeah I'm soft...around the middle, but at least I know how to punctuate a sentence!
Earl is a great player and I feel bad about how Seattle did him , he deserved better he gave that team his all
Like he said, it's a business. I don't remember Earl saying he'd take less money because he was so loyal to the Seahawks. Of course he wouldn't. For him to be mad at Pete because the Seahawks made the right business decision is childish. They didn't want to guarantee him a long term contract because he was more of an injury risk. Then he got injured. So at the end of the day, the Seahawks made the right decision. Earl was amazing in Seattle, and I hope one day he can just appreciate the time there and not be bitter.
Earl sounds like Future 😂
😂yeen lien
Lol
I didn’t expect his voice to be this deep
And his actions cost him his Ravens contract. This guy offers so much, but can’t keep his emotions mellow
I mean recently yeah I guess but not with the Seahawks dude deserved to be pissed. All the elite talent and their coach threw it and a chance of dynasty away
If you're not practicing and feeling bitter toward your coach, no wonder they let you go. Easy decision.
Why is there dynamic background music....it isn't on point and undercuts the interview
Jared Brennan once I read this I heard it way louder...
Upcoming boss battle
What does him breaking his arm have to do with Pete? He’s in his feelings.
well, this didn't age well
At least he was honest
Remember on that play when the patriots beat the Seahawks in the SB?
Lamp Long Bust yea as a Seahawks fan I look back at that moment and ask myself..... why did they not run for the ball?
Yeah and now I see they should’ve!
"patriots beat" or seahawks beat themselves lmao i mean we all remember what we saw idiotic hubris beast mode coulda been the damn hero of that game
if the pass was completed, yall would've celebrated on how good of a play it was. Lmaooo
@@PeanutButterAndJellyBros But it didn't.
Caught a pic in his first game at Baltimore
Lol just imagine ravens sending a blitz and earl cracks the shit out of Russell Wilson and looks at pete at from the field
No one catches Wilson
@@joejoe77547 you got that right
I'm sure ET3 will never read this, but I want him to know that there are a whole lot of people in Seattle that still love you and wish the best for mans. Not just one of the greatest Seahawks of all time, but one of the best to ever do it period!
I'm a fan. But these guys are not being good examples.
Respect. Go Thomas.
