2012 was definitely a strange year for Long Jump. Bayer would have snatched the Olympic gold with any of his 3 best jumps of European Champs (8.34 twice and 8.33) and Méliz and Tórneus would have achieved a medal with his best jumps of this competition. Even Tórneus jumped here a 8.60 foul!
