I have never seen a 75 ton crane being put together with an assist crane. I ran 75 ton link belt for years and 110 ton Terex cranes without an assist crane. I ran a 999 Manitowoc that we used a 75 ton Link Belt to assemble but the 44,000 pound tracks were off to transport and the main counterweight was 44,000 too. The crane can do it itself but we already had a 75 ton there. A 75 ton crane needs 100 foot of boom to install it's own counterweight so if the trucks are sent in the right order the crane just kind of comes together without outside help.

I think in most countries where job sites are situated far from the yards, having an assist crane practically makes no logistical sense. In my country most sites are just a 10-20km drive away, so assistant crane is usually sent to cut setup time. This crawler was rigged in just 3.5 hours with me as the assistant crane

We are only allowed 40,000 pounds on each truck(80,000 total for truck and load) so everything has it's place. The HC 110 Terex is 4 loads. Main counterweight is one and 100ft of boom plus 2 track weights at 11,500 pounds each. Then 30 ft of boom with the 13,000 of counterweight left over. The crane needs a permit because it weighs 105,000 but our DOT sets the route which can be 100 miles out of the way. We can do 3 loads with a higher permit but the state next to us requires 5 loads no way around it. 3 loads takes an hour set up but 5 loads takes most of a day because the tracks are off. U.S.A has 50 states and 50 laws on how to haul a load. 110 ton and smaller takes an hour to set up most of the time in my state. @@SGHeavyVehicles

@@williamrosenow6176Damn.. having different laws in each state is ridiculous. Cant imagine travelling legal in say Texas only to be stopped at California 😂

Wisconsin lets you buy a bigger permit. I think we had 160,000 lbs but Minnesota only allows 80,000 lb loads. I got a 75 ton crane from MN that was 2 tracks, one crane, one counterweight and boom with some counterweight. Transport within Wisconsin and it's a whole crane and boom and blocks on 2 loads. I set up a 210 ton Terex that came from out of state and I don't know how many trucks were there on the morning I got there but I lost count during the day. The crane is 30ftx30ft so can't haul with tracks but each track is 45,000lbs so too heavy for a flatbed but a lowboy is only allowed one. That's one extra load because we can't haul more than one piece on a lowboy. The laws are stupid. One 90,000lb crane, OK but not 2 45,000lb tracks unless they are pinned together to the main unit. A lowboy trailer without a machine can only haul 80,000 gross weight. Our laws make my head hurt.@@SGHeavyVehicles

@@williamrosenow6176 Hahaha i know that feeling buddy. It's a pain for the planners. Are you guys required to display OVERSIZED CARGO on your cranes while travelling?

What is the capacity of the mobile crane Require for assembly 100T crawler crane ?
Also, give a video for transportation crawler crane various parts

Highly depend on site constraints and site requirements. If site area is big, 60ton mobile crane can do it easily. If small area and crane has to park far away, then a 70ton or 100ton mobile crane will be needed.
My company does not transport crawler cranes so i do not have video of that. But will do so if i happen to see it
