But if the gun is re-spun with new odds each time (with the chambers adding a new bullet each time), then the odds of making it to the end of your shots are 5!/6^5 ≈ 1.54%. But if blank chambers are magically taken away and then respun, the odds are (5!/6!) which just reduces to 1/6 ≈ 16.7% (in fact, re-spinning makes no difference if chambers are magically removed. And since you have no agency, there is no Monty Hall effect). Going with the 16.7%, the odds for three to get that are 1/6^3 ≈ 0.463%, or 1 in a little over 210 games. These folks play a lot so it’s bound to happen sometimes!
