not every concept idea gets built. The next generation of Wehrmacht tanks were streamlined with commonality of parts for optimized manufacture and higher production numbers. The heavy tanks would have beaten the King Tiger, but the series was mainly focussed on getting the entire line of light and medium tanks as well as assault guns sorted. Even that plan was out of touch with reality, but none in the Wehrmacht planned to build any super tanks.

3:18 Well they didn't extend the Maginot line because they ran out of money because Frances economy got hit pretty hard from the great depression. They also didn't want to trap Belgium with Germany I'm pretty sure. If they did do that that would cause some alliance political issues. Weird but cool I guess. The Maginot Line actually did its job to perfection. As the video said, the line was meant to divert any German offensive efforts up to Belgium, where France would easier be able to fight them. Unfortunately, the reason this plan failed was, to the best of my knowledge, twofold. One: Franco-Belgian relations deteriorated over the 1930's as Germany invaded more and more territories while France did nothing about it, leading Belgium to believe that France wouldn't come to their aid either if it came to that. Two: the Maginot Line was much weaker in the Ardennes because that forest was believed to be so thick that it acted as its own natural impenetrable barrier, and as such building a highly fortified wall through it would be a waste of resources. Naturally, the Germans went right through that as well.

15:00 the reason Germany would have wanted a gun to fire at London would've been for 3 me known reasons: 1. The V2 was very expensive to make, and the payload not worth it, especially because of already existing fuel shortage (of course it didn't use the same as the tanks, but still, the fuel resources could be used otherwise), 2. The V1 rocket, which was arguably somewhat cost effective, could be hunted and shot or otherwise destroyed by planes, and 3, more shots could've been fired in a smaller time frame

This would’ve never saved the Bismarck, it was actually doomed by an aircraft which disabled it and resulted in its absolute surrounding and devastation.

I've used both. But only smaller items in metric. 100kg to mcg with mg/ml/mm being most common.
I memorized long long ago that 76.2mm is as close to 3inches as you can get without getting silly.

4:30 Not really. First off reloading the dang thing takes ages. Secondly a ship like the Bismarck is not capable of supporting such a large weapon. It is designed to carry a much smaller gun.
