    Pastor Adrian Rogers was a gift to Christiandom. God gave him the gift of teaching God's Word.
    No fancy speech, just the straightforward word of God.
    Even though he's no longer on earth, every sermon he preached still has great impact on everyone who hears them😇

      I agree, not only have learned many spiritual truths about the Bible but I have got right with the Lord. I just received a phone call that was very beneficial. After being saved, forgiven, and receiving the righteousness of Christ forty- nine years ago. Surviving many attempts on my life, physical but mostly spiritual (and many self inflicted ) , you would think I would be so well seasoned that I could not be tricked by the Devil. But that is not true and this one came very close to recking me. The Lord had this phone call delivered to me. Thank you Lord. The consequences are very high ( my wife of fifty five years is no longer hear, nothing is important, but I still have my family ( what is left of it ) and the Lord has not given up on me. Very grateful for that. I pray that the Lord will continue to broadcast sermons from lwf

    How thankful I am for this dear brother in Christ. He is not teaching his opinion. He is teaching God's word and what our Lord desires for us.

    This world would be a much better place if we would hear messages like this if we would exercise mercy, extend grace to others and also by walking in forgiveness or at least be genuinely willing to forgive (of course only by God's provided strength) as we trust God for the healing process.

    I've always had problems with resentments and forgiveness because of the things some people did to me especially the major things. I went to treatment for an addiction problem and I have mental health issues to get sober and in recovery where I had a therapist and a sponsor I did the steps with. My therapist told me that resentments only hurt you, not the other person. You do it for yourself. The steps are all about letting go of bad behaviors, making amends, becoming a better person, and helping others. I had to write down all my resentments, how they affected me, and my part in them. When you see your part you know what to change and make amends if needed. Tjis doesnt apply to every situation though like if you were abused. I also try to understand why people are the way they are and do what they do. Not justifying or condoning their behaviors but we act how we do for a reason. Then it helps have more compassion and pray for them. If they change be happy for them, if not, don't stoop to their level and get revenge, but be the bigger person and be kind. They will get their karma whether from an experience, another person, or God. I wouldn't wish that. It's good to heal and protect yourself.

    Everytime I say I have forgiven someone I get tested and realize I have not forgiven them at all. I fail I don’t know how to truly forgive. I know I will not be forgiven either. I say I have with my lips but my heart keeps holding to the hurt. When someone wrongs me or hurts me it plays over and over in my head. I say stop it and try and take hold of my thought. Then it quits playing in my head as time goes by but as soon as something comes up about the person the bitterness shows back up. Lord please help me. I have asked many times to be delivered from the unforgiving spirit. To Uproot this bitterness in me. I know God loves me and forgives me why can’t I forgive also. Help me to pray my brother and sisters in Christ

      Forgiveness means to no longer hold anger or resentment or bitterness towards the person or situation. To no longer let it have control over you. Try it by thinking of it that way.

    • @DiggertheBoxer
      @DiggertheBoxer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ashleynicole9423 I know and I do put that away then I will see them and think bad things about them. That anger will rare back up but not as bad. I just been trying to let time get between it. Eventually I will someday let go of the hurt.

    • @ashleynicole9423
      @ashleynicole9423 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DiggertheBoxer If you can’t forgive them their sins, Jesus can’t forgive you your sins. When you feel hurt or sorrow when seeing this person, that is the enemy controlling you. Not God. The enemy is the one who wants you angry, sad, bitter, grief stricken. You don’t have keep this person in your life or be friends with them…even if they’re family. But you must let go of the anger. Otherwise you are letting the enemy control your heart and mind. Pray for Jesus to show you how to let it go and forgive! Set your heart free❤️

    • @DiggertheBoxer
      @DiggertheBoxer ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @ashleynicole9423 I know this and in my original comment I said this. I do say I forgive them what should I do ? Go and hug them? As long as I am not around them I am good I even pray for these people but as soon as I see them it's like I find I haven't forgave them because then those bad thoughts come into my head but I don't say or do anything out loud. I don't repay evil for evil. I always ask God to please take the bitterness and hurt from my heart. Should I apologize to them for hurting me? If they came and apologized to me I believe I would forgive them. Those who wrong you always believe or will say you wronged them.

    • @ashleynicole9423
      @ashleynicole9423 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DiggertheBoxer You do not have to continue hugging or being around someone who wronged you. If the person did evil to you and never repented and asked your forgiveness, stay away from them! You really want this someone pulling you into hell every time you’re around them? Forgiveness is for YOU. So that you don’t carry the anger and bitterness in your heart which separates you from God! It has not much to do with the other person. I hope that is clear. I don’t have all the answers and it’s hard without details but I really hope you can heed what I’m saying and combine it with God’s truth, wisdom, and discernment. I wish you the best💜☺️💜

    The forgiveness that I need to grant is not someone hurt my feelings. The wrong cost the life of my wife of fifty five years. The harmony and fellowship of my family, who were in fellowship with the Lord and the family but now are filled with hatered and bitterness. And I can not grant forgiveness for them although I wish I could. Only the Lord can fix this one and I pray that HE does. Rather than disgrace the Lord and the family name , I pray the Lord would get rid of me. My burden is more than I can bare.
