The snake obviously has something to do with sin, right?
From what the illustration tells us we can assume that the ghost we see used to be a murderer, maybe even a serial killer.
To move on they have to let go of their life and therefore their sins, pictured here as the snake passing through them.
All of their sins are laid bare as they have to acknowledge them to be able to move on.
The human to ghost transformation actually shows us how they move on from the form they had when they were still alive and are now formless and free to start anew.

I used to do this as a kid after watching a show that was super popular here in Australia called “Mr Squiggle”
Kids would send in their scribbles and Mr Squiggle (a giant puppet with a pencil nose) would turn it into a drawing while his blackboard would grumpily yell “hurry up!”

1st scribble looked like a shark!
This is quite possibly one of my favorite illustrations by Kasey absolutely ever
When the scribble was turned my brain was like, ooh! a wale or a shark. :D
A few challenges people can do:
×A background before the main thing (character)
×Emoji challenge (😈👩🍱) basically random emojis..
×have someone pick the colors of your piece and have another person give you something to draw, blues,yellows and reds (+white and black). Then monster eating people's candy...
×use things around your house to draw(besides actual art stuff)
I'm sorry, I know not all of these are original! I'm not sure if any of them are to be honest, I kinda was just thinking random stuff :D

So cute! I would love to see the more abstract images completed, like the earlier ideas, the girl with long hair around the hill with a house on it, that looked so interesting, even the scribble lady. I do scribble drawings all the time, it’s interesting to see what you can find in the scribbles and how you can extend the image.

My kids and I play the Line game. It's when you scribble a line and the other person has to turn it into a coherent drawing. You trade back and forth until one person can't make an illustration out of the other persons line and the line scribbler wins!

You could so make this into a series, "Be careful what you dress up for Halloween because you might get turned into it." A person who dressed up as a ghost gets turned into one. :) Awesome challenge, I've tried it a few times.

I did a challenge with my friends, where both draw scribbles to each others papers, and then drew something from that. It was awesome!

I definitely don't think you took an easy route! This turned out great!
Your style is simple, and in a sense it _is_ abstract, so there's no reason to try to force yourself to avoid those things when doing challenges like these.
In general, the goal of a challenge is whatever you want it to be, it should always fit within your style and artistic journey, not someone else's.
I kept screaming "SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE!!!" in my head- hoping that past video Kasey would hear me.

I like that you didn't add any blood to the sheet, makes it seem like all that gore behind him is more psychological and what is inside him rather than a physical attack.

Definatly thought about putting a tiny fairy trapped in a ten gallon hat, orrr having a dogs head under a towel, orrrrrrr a hilariously large 10-gallon hat on a stocky cowboy riding an also stocky donkey / pony

His scribble looked like someone who had only seen a treble clef once then had to draw it.
I feel like the ghost is representing a bystander to a serial killer. Almost like a younger sister or girlfriend, watching the other kill and cleaning up them. I’d like to interpret the paint as blood, as if she was covering up the blood splatters on the wall until eventually it kept bleeding through and contaminated all of the white paint. The skull for the people she buried to protect her partner. That she lived with guilt and eventually either died from the hands of the one she was protecting, or herself. I believe I saw someone say something about sin and I am on the same page with that. Let’s just say that eves apple was in fact the skull of the one she was protecting.

It's crazy seeing how much of your watercolor you have used since you got that palette any time it's in the shot! Do you refill it with tubes every once in a while or do you have to order new pans for that palette?
A good explanation could be like,
The snake represents one little problem, and that small problem can make something bigger (all the stuff behind the ghost) when someone consumes or gets involved. the bigger problem is more internal, thus the blood and stuff is behind the ghost.

The sheet ghost was probably just trying to protect that guy from a snake attack by possessing him... but then they both exploded.
I actually used to do this with a friend of mine! We go back and fourth off of a random scribble until we couldn't think of anything to add.
