The determinant of a 2X2 matrix tells us what the area of the image of a unit square would be under the matrix transformation. This, in turn, allows us to tell what the area of the image of any figure would be under the transformation.
Great video. Nicely explained. The determinant is also the product of the Eigen values of the matrix. It’s an interesting thing as they are all related.
Whenever I hear Sal's voice, a smile comes to my face automatically.
weirdo
@@coolestburrito3487 stfu, your the one who's a weirdo for thinking something weird.
I just think of him as my master out mentor.
@@sovereignboss1841 Calm down, it was a joke
@@coolestburrito3487 okay. No problem, i see the camera there in the corner. Nice prank
@@sovereignboss1841 Lmao, you made me laugh but my bad for making you question your sexuality
Clear as usual!
Love Khan Academy👍👍👍
Thx sir for teaching us 😄😄😄
This concept finally leads to Jacobian in Calculus.
Excellent
I want to learn programming im 13 years old
Steps:
1.) Start with Python. It allows you to get a sense what programming is.
2.) Do small projects like creating a calculator, Simple and Compound intrest calculator, a program which receives input and outputs a ticket with all the details, etc. Remember keep it simple at first.
3.) Don't give up if something doesn't work, understand how the code is executed, and reason your way through the problem (maybe draw diagrams on how the code is supposed to function. I sometimes just stare at the code on the computer screen for awhile to find the mistake.
4.) If you don't know or understand something, look it up online. Even experienced programmers and coders use a reference called documentation (like Python documentation) to understand the numerous functions, statements, etc. A good programmer spends 99% of their time searching for the answer or missing code. Use or follow the programming pages on GitHub and Stackoverflow, they have all the answers.
5.) Learn Math comprehensively. Math is the structure behind all code. Math makes coding easy, and coding makes math easy.
Good Luck!👍
Programming is no cool and boring, learn Ethical Hacking, it's awesome
@@sovereignboss1841lol what
