Hey, even though this channel has been "left behind", I really appreciate the easily digestable learning resources. As the first generation in my family to enter higher education I feel the significant knowledge gap between me and my peers from engineering families, but this channel has really helped a lot in bridging some of the gaps I find difficult to ask for help for, especially for workshop tools. Big thanks to you for creating this channel!

I made an AC Voltage Divider, but when I connect a load device to it, it causes the voltage output to lower, so I think I have to some impedance matching with an inductor since the Voltage Divider uses capacitors. I connected the primary coil of a transformer in parallel with the load device and it raised the voltage much higher, but to reach exactly 120 volts I think I will need a variable inductor. Thanks for this video. 😊

If you plan to study electromagnetic fields you will need a waveform amplifier, they are expensive but useful as an oscilloscope or a function generator.
Don't forget to connect a big resistor to it (like a 300 watts, 6.8 ohm).

  • @eng.ahmedshakir3366

Dear...which one is more useful as an inductance. ..1watts or 0.5 watts or 0.25watts for the same value of inductor such as 10milihenrey for example! !!?
Coz I have a private project n I want to order online ring colored inductor with value 10mh but there r 3 types of 10mh with different watts ...
    1- 1w
    2-0.5 w
    3-0.25 w
I need 10 mh with high inductance so which one of these 3 types is a high inductance?
    Thanks..😊

A bit of what I hope is received as constructive criticism: I've only watched a few of your videos, and even though they are cool, I usually feel like they leave a lot of (a bit more advanced) stuff out that could make them more interesting.
In this one, for example, you mention the basic structure for an inductor, and kinda mention a couple of uses, and compare them to resistors for AC, but don't really go into any kind of detail... a description for inductors that really stuck with me was that, similarly to how capacitors store a voltage value, inductors store a current value. Also could have been nice an example on how a transformer wold work, maybe.
Another example: on the video about diodes, you only talk about LEDs, which is okay because other uses for diodes are more advanced, but I thought it would be nice to at least mention the increased complexity an LED structure has compared to a simple diode.
In all, I have the feeling that if I *only* watched one of the videos, then I might go and research more on the topic, but this is youtube so I expect that people will just go and watch another video after that instead.

Possibly you can help me with an Electronics mystery. For the past two weeks I have gone through possibly 50 websites and TH-cam channels looking for one that will show a beginner the basics of electronics while not assuming that the student has already gone through five years of courses on the subject. One that will show real world translation of a schematic to a physical point-to-point wired circuit. One that does not use what they call a breadboard which merely conceals all the important parts from the student. I thought that this would be an easy item to find, but amazingly nobody teaches this. If you know of such a source, please, please let me know. It would be much appreciated.
