This is not "An extended version of Welcome Home" This is the first song of his album, Ghost. This song is Asleep on A Train. So in this video both songs were mixed with Welcome Home Reprise. Welcome home is the second song of the same album. Nice work BTW.
Sleep don't visit, so I choke on sun And the days blur into one And the backs of my eyes hum with things I've never done Sheets are swaying from an old clothesline Like a row of captured ghosts over old dead grass Was never much but we made the most Welcome home (ho-o-ome, ho-o-ome, ho-o-ome...) Ships are launching from my chest Some have names but most do not If you find one, please let me know what piece I've lost Heal the scars from off my back I don't need them anymore You can throw them out or keep them in your mason jars I've come home (ho-o-ome, ho-o-ome, ho-o-ome...) All my nightmares escaped my head Bar the door, please don't let them in You were never supposed to leave Now my head's splitting at the seams And I don't know if I can Here, beneath my lungs, I feel your thumbs press into my skin again
I recognize this from somewhere... Was it in a movie? The Perks of Being a Wallflower, maybe? Regardless, it's so beautiful and I can't stop repeating it! I love Radical Face's quiet and simple music; there's an eerie sort of magic to it
You almost got it. This song played in a Nikon commercial, and his other song "We're On Our Way" (From the 'The Bastards' short album) played in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. :) And i agree, his songs are one of a kind. Have you heard of his other music projects?
Thanks! I had no clue that "We're on Our Way" is by Radical Face! That's one of my favorite songs! I've listened to a few of their other songs; my favorites are "Glory" and "Winter is Coming." Have you heard those? :)
I absolutely love "Glory!" I thought that it was a bit strange when I first heard it, but by the end, I fell in love with it. It's so warm and soft, you know? It just fills me with quiet comfort and total peace, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. That's why I love Radical Face; like the best musicians, he removes you entirely from real life and places you in another world.
Yep, I had the same feeling about Glory! Its strangeness was what got me hooked later. I thought its beat was too unpredictable, its intro was too long, the changes of pace were awkward. Then i listened with some more attention and discovered that i loved it! Then i set off about learning its lyrics, which felt pretty deep. This feeling happened with some other songs, like "Some Crap About the Future", or "The Mute". So, when i started hearing his songs with other ears, that was when i realized that Radical Face is not even in the general area of playing around.
This song is amazing! I love all the details to it in the background. This song always brings me to my happy place :)
So in love with Radical Face right now.
This was sooo beautiful especially the last part

As a train exits a tunnel the revolution begins.
This is brilliant.
I love this song, it's from every Indie movie in the world....

I fell in love with this when I heard it on The Blacklist. Bad Ass!
Love this song. Entrancing.
I miss you brother... ;(
Bonito tema me recuerda a mi montaña
This song is from the end of the documentary forks over knives
This version is much better than the 5 minute one.
For beginners, its in every Nikon commercial
The ending is 👌👌
i was about to say the same thing haha, there's people who don't know how to apreciate music (:

I don't think i've heard 'Winter is Coming', but i've definitely heard 'Glory' and it's hands down one of the best songs i've ever heard. :3
