Another interesting think is where everyone standes: one side is John with Cameron and the other side are the rest of the people. It's like this part shows the future: John will get more and more lonely with Cameron on his side.
Such an awesome scene... And I love the part where John takes Cameron's hand and helps her out of the car. Summer Glau compared it to the prince helping Cinderella out of her carriage. ^_^
She is still under Skynet programming when John reactivates her, I don't believe she ever reverted to the Resistance reprogramming, I actually think she manually overrode her mission and chose to protect John herself.. of her own free-will. It's a known design flaw with T-800s who have been manually set to read/write for too long, that they will eventually develop self-awareness and free-will, just like Arnold did in Terminator 2. How did he? Well at the end he disobeyed John Connor's direct order to say and chose to sacrifice himself to save humanity (or what he thought would save humanity). It's a detail a lot of people miss. He followed John's order at the begining of the movie, because he was programmed to. Once they set him to read/write (extended version of T2), he started to ask questions and learn. We don't know if Cameron's chip was set to read/write from the beginning or if her chip even has a read-only function since it appears to be so much more advanced than a T-800. It could very well be that Cameron was learning and developing since episode 1. She exhibited a lot of curiosity in the show that was not related to John or her mission to protect him, she even expressed limited emotions in some episodes. I believe she was self-aware.
Thats a bit too hopeful. This series establishes that for some reason the original kill humans/John programming never goes away, its just supressed. Like she said in the future "sometimes they just go bad, we dont know why". They can't get ridnof skynets programming and they are always just barely in control. It has nothing to do with her making a decision, her override kicked in.
Very dangerous situation i must say. Cameron could have accidentally fired because her finger was essentially on the trigger. One awkward move and John is dead. At that moment, Cameron had every chance to kill John.
@@larryfrazier5925 What kind of love can there be between a cyborg and a human? Just because she didn't kill him now doesn't mean she won't kill him in the future. The fact that she canceled the elimination program is a temporary lull.
@Hangman281983 The longer she was around John, the more human she became. You didn't pay attention she was developing real human emotions.. She was no ordinary cyborg. They fell in love.. Real human love they had.. Unfortunately john wasted considerable amount of time before he finally realized that. More than likely at some point even after they were separated. They found a way to get married.
This is how you deal with women - Don't try to argue with them or always be right, just give her the gun and tell her to make up her mind. lol THAT is true love.
Damn good scene, I didn't know she could overate a prime command. Then again she makes decisions based off calculations, the math probably didn't add up to kill someone who just spared her own life... err activation?
Man I want one. :) ....actually wanted Cam and John to actually be a couple...for her to advance and love....which i think she did . She would have been his greatest protector and lover. Always there for him and never hurt him.
They loved each other very much.. He kept on fighting it even though he knew he was madly in love with her.. The longer she was around him, the more human she became and he gradually saw how much more human she became.. It would have been super awesome if they had gotten married before they got separated
As interesting as the Terminatrix character is, she could only exist as a model of a human being, a real person, whom SkyNet most likely killed to create her. And then the Resistance captured, and reprogrammed her, before sending her back through time, is how the story went, I think... The point being, well, a human being is more than a robot, so, should she not be deleted from history so that a real person might live?... But what if the real person was like really annoying? The Terminatrix is really cool... Would you... choose.... I guess the point is, If something bad had to happen to create something really cool... would you alter the timeline to stop the bad?.... If all your bad moves lead you to something good... would you still feel regret about your past? Yes, you would. For it is only human to want your cake, and eat it too. When asked to choose between the greater of two goods, accept both. And when asked to choose the lessor of two evils, reject both... Also, make sure you get your labels on right. .. Bad robots need good code.
T-X was a technological masterpiece! An advanced endoskeleton with titanium fibres covered in minetic polyaloy. If i was scientist specialized in cybernetics i would have reprogrammed her for sex, companionship and to serve as my bodyguard. What would you do my friend?
I think the main problem is that season 2 came out at the same a lot of other good shows did, so people became distracted from TSCC. its just a guess in my book
Yeah if I had a robot that looked like Summer Glau I wouldn't destroy it either, even if there's a chance it one day kills me. Instead I would modify it in certain places...
I haven't blocked anyone. I watched only the episodes of The Unit with Summer so I didn't have any special atention about the other characters. All I know is that her character's boyfriend was on a mission and he wanted to propose her when he got that accident or what was it. Crystal didn't stayed at his bed, got involved with the guy who played the assasin in Castle s03 and after she tried to get some revenge because after they slept togheter he said no, she went back home, in Michigan.
Do stuffs like that? I admit that I got involved in a fight you had with a guy and I thought that you have a problem with Summer Glau. What was the fight about?

She become self aware at the end of season 2
She’s a t-900 but yes. She’s able to become far more than just a machine as a result.
SemperFiMac77 Its a movie ....remember ....its subject to the writers whims .Its not real , remember .
None of this is real but that doesnt matter. We will still debate the lore.

The first time that I saw it... I would love be able to come back in that time and watch to it for the first time again.

John would have been crazy to let a baby making sex robot from the future slip away.
I mean 🤷🏻♂️
its had to keep a boner while all the other robots want to kill you
What?
All those times she so threw herself at him.. they should made many babies
I love this scene.. John & Cameron had a special relationship!
They truly loved another.. pity not say I do
one of best scenes from the show - love that!
